This implausible, but effective 1987 film stars Kevin Costner (Bull Durham, Wyatt Earp) as a naval officer and CIA agent who may not be what he seems. This sexy thriller is an espionage mystery and an enigmatic character study of two men trying to be faithful to the loyalties they hold. Costner begins a torrid love affair with the mistress (Sean Young) of the Secretary of Defense, but when she turns up dead, Costner is implicated in a web of intrigue that threatens national security and exposes personal secrets at the highest levels. The Secretary and his men try to cover up the affair while simultaneously searching for a Soviet mole in their ranks. Featuring an exciting chase sequence through the Washington, D.C., subways, No Way Out is a standard issue thriller that nonetheless keeps the action coming. --Robert Lane

Best movie Kevin Costner has ever made! An exceptional film! .......2007-03-28
Shel Natowsky, Ph.D.
This movie is Costner's best, without any hesitation. The performances by Hackman and Sean Young are also flawless. Supporting roles are well honed, as well. The movie has everything you could want in a film...I mean everything! The screenplay is wonderfully written, acted, directed, and presented.
Why is it that movies as superb as this one is cannot be made anymore? Everytime I run it, it never ceases to thrill me and to amaze me. If you want to see a Cold War drama that never ceases to excite and one which moves at a fever's pace, then see this one. Satisfaction guaranteed! Well done people!
Kostner at his best........2007-01-09
This early Kostner film is Kostner at his best. It demonstrates his screen magnetism and established him as a star. Great tension, twists and turns. Not a typical Hollywood ending.Great casting.
If you love conspiracy, you will love this movie too!.......2006-02-16
This is one of the benchmark for the movies based on political drama and corruption in government departments. The story is about a secretary in Pentagon, and his attempts to cover-up the accidental killing of his mistress. The corrupt officers will not stop at anything to save the secretary from loosing his position. The defence secretary put Tom Farrell (Kevin Costner) in charge of the murder investigation and later uses him for the cover up by falsely accusing him of a being a KGB spy. The world around Farrell changes, as the people he was supposed to trust turns out to be corrupt and partners with the defence secretary. Go for this movie if you like the conspiracy and political thriller because till date very few movies are made up to this mark.
High caliber thriller!.......2005-09-30
Desire and seduction, murder and cover up, scandal and intrigue, half truths and false promises of patriotism; where the duty lies beyond the flatter and the appearance must become a politically correct matter. In this sense this Neo Noir Film transcends the anecdote in a very linked similar profile with classics of the genre such as Pick Up on South Street or Kiss me deadly where the personal destinies are tied with the another dark side of the ethic.
Costner is an actor who is not precisely among my favorite ones, but I must acknowledge all the possible credits for this role, the alluring, irresistible and captivating of Sean Young as Femme Fatale and the worthy acting of Will Patton plus the presence of this giant actor as Hackman making of the sophisticated villain conform a magnificent cast that support the admirable camera work of Roger Donaldson who made until now, his most interesting work.
A magnificent remake of the Big Clock.
One of Costner's First Good Films.......2005-05-26
Roger Donaldson's 1987 film regarding the intrigues of the Department of Defense and the Pentagon starring Kevin Costner, Sean Young, and Gene Hackman.
Costner is a navy officer and C.I.A. operative who starts having a risky relationship with the mistress (Sean Young) of the Secretary of Defense (Gene Hackman.) When the Secretary of Defense accidentally kills her, Costner is made a scape goat to cover up the potential scandal: he's accused of being a KGB mole. The story then becomes a cat-and-mouse game between the U.S. Government and Costner on the run.
This is certainly one of Costner's better movies and the film carries the suspense quite well. Costner's limited acting talents are also complemented by those of Gene Hackman. This is a better movie to rent as it counts on mystery to carry the suspense which is resolved at the end of the film.

Description
Nominated for the 1950 Oscar® for Best Writing, Story and Screenplay, this intense drama about racial hatred pulls no punches. When a white patient in a hospital dies under the care of a black intern (Sidney Poitier), the victim?s racist brother (Richard Widmark) seeks to destroy the doctor?s career. Although the hospital?s idealistic Chief Resident (Stephen McNally) tries to diffuse the escalating tension, the victim?s ex-wife (Linda Darnell) seems to go along with the vengeance-seeker?until she realizes she?s on the wrong side.
Customer Reviews:
Drama masquerading as film noir.......2007-09-13
One of the more interesting of the 1950 film noirs is this drama starring Richard Widmark, Linda Darnell and, in his screen debut, Sidney Poitier whose West Indian accent shows up here and there to let the closely-listening viewer know he's black, but definitely not American.
Be that as it may, this is a solid, well thought out piece of filmmaking co-scripted and directed by Joseph Mankiewicz. The powerful social theme of racism is a major one in this film--so much so that the "N" word is used quite a few times--and there's a full scale race riot depicted as well, which is, needless to say, really daring for a 1950 film.
The only real reason this is labelled film noir is that the Richard Widmark character, Ray Biddle, is a criminal who, along with his brother John, was both shot (in the leg) and caught by the cops, then put up in the local hospital where Luther Brooks (Poitier) is the most promising intern in the place--according to the chief surgeon, Wharton (Stephen McNally).
Widmark, as usual, turns in a fine performance, but the real stars of the show are, it seems to me, Linda Darnell and Sidney Poitier. Darnell is interesting here because unlike her typical femme fatale role, she plays down (to whatever extent she can, which is tough) her obvious feminine features by wearing dowdy clothes and de-emphasizing her makeup, and is really convincing as a tough broad living in a neighborhood about one level above Skid Row--maybe two. Poitier has a strong screen presence and even with some awkwardness here and there is more than convincing as a man torn between his ethnic heritage and his obvious intelligence in his demanding profession.
Widmark's character Ray Biddle is a vicious racist and blames Dr. Brooks (Poitier) for his brother John's death, which was clearly caused by a brain tumor--totally unrelated to his getting shot in the leg by the same cop who shot Ray in the leg. Ray incites the male residents of Beaver Canal--the one-level-above-Skid Row neighborhood--to go after the blacks in their neighborhood; hence, the riot.
The four stars are primarily for the startling degree of foresight and boldness of subject matter, as well as the strong performances by Poitier and Darnell, as well as Widmark. This is a surprisingly good movie--not what I would personally call film noir, but which has lasted the test of time with that monicker stuck to it.
Whatever category you put it in, it's definitely worth seeing.
No Way Out.......2007-06-26
A tense, hard-hitting social drama that earned an Oscar for Best Screenplay in 1950, Mankiewicz's pioneering film looks squarely at the ramifications of racial hostility while keeping audiences on the edge of their seat. Poitier is magnificent in his debut role, the epitome of coolheadedness and quiet self-regard, while Widmark seethes in a typically explosive role. Mankiewicz builds suspense inside and outside the hospital, and the effect is riveting. Keep an eye out for actors/civil-rights activists Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis, playing Luther's brother and sister-in-law in a tandem debut. A potent powder keg of a film that hasn't lost its bite--or its relevance.
Not Film Noir but not bad........2007-05-18
Far too often DVDs of 1940s & 1950s films are labeled as being Film Noir only to help sell the product. Such is the case here. There is no way that "No Way Out" qualifies as "dark cinema," however, it still rates as a very good movie. Controversial when released, some of the drama seems forced at times but the story still entertains. The acting is first rate, especially by Sidney Poitier in his first role (and a starring one at that). Also making their debuts were Ozzie Davis and Ruby Dee.
Strong Dialogue & Characterizations Are Still Compelling Today........2007-03-07
"No Way Out" raised the bar in the social conscience film trend a few years after "Crossfire" and "Gentlemen's Agreement" received multiple Oscar nominations for condemning anti-Jewish prejudice in America. This is an assuredly heavy-handed polemic on racism that nevertheless stands the test of time. Luther Brooks (Sidney Poitier) is a young black doctor who has resisted his family's pressure to go into private practice in order to get more experience at the county hospital. One fateful evening, he replaces a sick intern in the prison ward. The intensely racist Biddle Brothers, Ray (Richard Widmark) and Johnny, are brought in for treatment of gun shot wounds to the legs. But Johnny is confused, unresponsive, and clearly suffering from some neurological malady. When he dies during Dr. Brooks' attempt to diagnose him, Ray accuses Brooks of murdering his brother and determines to muster all the racial hatred in his neighborhood to avenge Johnny.
"No Way Out" is sometimes called "film noir", but I take issue with that classification, because this is not even a crime film. And Dr. Brooks, though trapped by unfortunate coincidences and events beyond his control, is too squeaky clean to be a noir protagonist. But I do think that the "noir" elements help "No Way Out" overcome its dated proselytizing and idealized conceptions of Dr. Brooks to remain truly compelling even 60 years after it was made. This was Sidney Poitier's first film, so he was not given billing above the titles in spite of his starring role. Richard Widmark and Linda Darnell are no less the stars of "No Way Out", though. They have the best lines and pivotal scenes. Richard Widmark took the role of racist Ray Biddle reluctantly, as he was leaning toward leading man roles at this point in his career. But Widmark played some of the most memorable villains in cinematic history. Vile, vicious, and supremely manipulative Ray Biddle is no exception. Widmark's ability to convey uncertainty and insecurity with just his eyes is extraordinary.
Linda Darnell plays Johnny Biddle's ex-wife Edie whom Dr. Brooks and the Chief Medical Resident (Stephen McNally) implore to convince Ray to allow an autopsy on his brother. In some sense, this is her film, as Edie is the character who has an arc. She's white trash from the rough Beaver Canal neighborhood who has moved only one step up and out, always in danger of succumbing to her roots. Darnell looks great and spouts some terrific hard-boiled dialogue. The dialogue in "No Way Out", co-written by Lesser Samuels and director Joseph Mankiewicz, vacillates between the hardened, cynical repartee of film noir and loaded speech that the actors struggle to deliver with credibility. There is more than one social ideology represented: The ideas that Edie can overcome her roots and that Ray is a product of his environment join the calls for racial equality. But the dialogue and characterizations of "No Way Out" are so compelling that we don't mind the lack of subtlety in the social message.
The DVD (20th Century Fox 2006): Bonus features include a "Publicity Gallery" of 15 b&w ads for the movie, a "Photo Gallery" of 44 production and publicity stills, 2 short "Fox Movietone News" segments, a theatrical trailer (2 1/2 min), and an audio commentary by film noir historian Eddie Muller. The "Fox Movietone News" segments are coverage of Linda Darnell selling tickets to the New York premiere of the move (30 sec) and of Richard Widmark imprinting his hands in cement outside Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood (20 sec). Eddie Muller leaves more "air" in his commentary than usual so that we don't miss the dialogue that was so controversial in 1950. It's a good commentary that discusses actors, performances, and themes scene-by-scene but is not as packed with information as Muller's commentaries sometimes are. Subtitles are available for the film in English and Spanish.
No Way Out.......2007-01-13
That movie was horrible!!! Nowhere in the reviews did it inform the consumer that it was a film about such hatred!!!!! It should've said something like:
WARNING: The following movie contains ONE of the most offensive words spoken!!! And it was used 26 times!!!
This movie offered no redeeming value whatsoever. I hated it!!!!

Customer Reviews:
Film Noir Boxed Set.......2007-03-28
I have watched about half of these movies & so far all of them have been very good, in fact, much better than I expected. I find Dana Andrews to be a very compelling leading man & the actresses in all of these are superb as well. I hope Fox will resolve their issues with "Boomerang" which is #16 in the set, (which is not included with your purchase) so that I can add this one to the collection. My only complaint is that this collection is not really a boxed set. It is simply 17 great film noir DVD's shrink-wrapped together. However, this is a great value & lots of these titles are being released for the first time in this set. Highly recommended for those who like the genre.
remember...no 16 Boomerang is still missing.......2007-03-18
This set misses out no.16 "Boomerang". It got recalled at the eleventh hour by Fox because of a legal tangle.
You can find it on sale for $45.00 on amazon marketplace, because it was actually printed and ready to go.
Clearly a few boxes have found their way out the back door!!!!
But despite that wee dissapointment you'll love the rest.
Hopefully Fox will sort out the mess soon..... and then you can plug the gap without having to shell out silly money.
better price (than list) to start your collection, but not the best deal on noir.......2007-03-12
I haven't yet purchased these titles & was just about to, until I checked up on what's included with the current bundle (March 1 2007) that Amazon is offering. As previously mentioned, this is not a box set (misleading description from Amazon), but rather a bundle of the first 17 titles in Fox's noir series. I purchased the Warner Bros.' boxes 1-3 (and reviewed them there) which I thought were an excellent value for the money (when on sale, roughly 6 - 7$ per disc). I've held off on these since the price is higher. This bundle discounts the titles to about $8 per disc, which is better than the usual price for each, but a local retailer often sells these titles for 7.50 - 10.00 (with a buy 3 get 1 free sale). Still I would have jumped on this price had this been a bonafide box set with the slimmer DVD cases, but these regular dvd's will take up quite a bit of real estate in my storage. Moreover, the more recent titles aren't included (missing titles: Boomerang, 14 Hours, Shock, Vicki, all released last year). If Fox would release all the titles to date (plus the next releases: Hangover Square & The Lodger) in slim cases & a box at a comparable price I'll jump, otherwise I'm holding out for a better deal.
Don't Forget This One Too................2006-03-05
For some reason the Fox Noir release Dark Corner (Mark Stevens, Lucille Ball, Clifton Webb, William Bendix) doesn't get much coverage under the typical outlets for obtaining these Fox Noir titles, Amazon included. I didn't even know the title was even out there, but it is, and it is quite a Noir gem. I say this without hesitation because I was never a Lucy fan at all. But in this one, she's actually pretty cool. Too bad she went goofy in later life (I guess it paid the bills).
If you like the Fox Noir series and Noir in general, don't forget this one too. I got mine from Tower Records (seems hard to find for some reason). The famous "peering through the venetian blinds" scene that you see stills of all the time, that's Mark Stevens. A somewhat overlooked actor in Noir circuit, but he can hold up to any of the other more noted ones in my opinion. Check it out.
An indispensable series for aficionados of film noir.......2006-01-10
The Fox film noir collection is an "Amazon.com exclusive" consisting of 9 DVDS in their individual cases (alas including individual shrink wrap, which one tediously has to remove) presented in one blister pack. The nine titles are:
*** BATCH 1 (DVDs released 3/05): Call Northside 777 (1948); Laura (1944); Panic in the streets (1950)
*** BATCH 2 (DVDs released 6/05): House of bamboo (1955); Nightmare alley (1947); Street with no name (1948)
*** BATCH 3 (DVDs released 9/05): House on 92nd Street (1945); Somewhere in the night (1946); Whirlpool (1949)
The film restorations are superbly done. The DVD cases are in uniform format, being part of the "Fox film noir" series. Each title has a film commentary (Laura has two) plus other extras, minimally a trailer. In addition, each title has a 4-page booklet with these sections: "the lineup," "the look," "the scoop," "the story," and "scene selection."
The DVDs list for $14.95 each and currently Amazon sells them for around $10 each. Amazon sells the 9-DVD collection for $74.99, which works out to $8.33 for each DVD. Certainly, not all titles are of the caliber of Laura (1944), but this collection is a must-have for the firm-noir aficionado.
Incidentally, BATCH 4, was released 12/05 and consists of: The dark corner (1946); Kiss of death (1947); Where the sidewalk ends (1950). BATCH 5 will be released in 3/06: Fallen angel (1945); House on Telegraph Hill (1951); No way out (1950)
Alain Silver & Elizabeth Ward's "Film noir: An encyclopedic reference to the American style" (1992, 3rd ed.) lists 32 noir titles by Fox. Hence we can probably expect from Fox another 20 or so titles in the "Fox film noir" series. If these 32ish titles all materialize in this excellent series, it will be a big chunk both out of one's purse and DVD shelf space.

They Would Have To Pay ME To Watch This.......2007-04-03
I rented this movie for free. In return for this free rental, I give you the gift of this honest review. This pay per view is a complete waste of time. It is a lot worse than most standard Smackdown programs you can watch for free.
The only decent match is the raw match featured as a dvd extra. The actual PPV is listless. If you want to see a good and relatively recent pay per view, try 2005's Wrestlemania or Summerslam, or 2005's Vengeance.
I THOUGHT IT SUCKED.......2007-03-26
THERE HAVE BEEN BETTER NWO PAY
PER VIEWS THAN THIS ONE.
HOWEVER I WILL BUY IT FOR
MY COLLECTION AND ONLY
FOR THE SMACKDOWN MATCHES
ON THE 2ND DISC.
IF YA WANT TO BUY IT JUST
TO OWN ALL THE PAY PER VIEWS,
THATS FINE.BUT IF YA HAVEN'T
SEEN IT YET DON'T BOTHER.
Here are the extras.......2007-03-15
it has a bonus disc
Here's the 2nd disc:
HBK/Cena VS. MVP/Kennedy (SD 2/16/07)
Batista/Taker VS. Rated RKO (SD 2/16/07)
thats it for disc 2 A waste of a disc IMO for 2 matches. Extras for disc 1 include:
Chavo Guerrero: Post match comments
Behind the scenes of Ashley's Playboy shoot
Taker/Batista/HBK/Cena VS. Rated RKO/MVP/Kennedy (Raw 2/15/07)
Just As Much Bad As There Is Good.......2007-02-28
I've been saying ever since No Mercy 2004 that SmackDown has been on a streak of good PPV's but unfortunately I had to say that came to an end here for a disappointing No Way Out...and I was there live. The show wasn't bad but there was more bad than good for this show.
Hardy Boyz & Chris Benoit vs. MNM & MVP - First of all, WWE had originally advertised a rematch from the Armageddon Ladder Match but then it was cancelled at the last minute & we ended up getting this match...plus is was just weird to see Benoit in a opening filler match. Putting that aside, the match itself was good for an opener as everyone worked really hard.
Crusierweight Open: Crusierweight Champion Gregory Helms vs. Funaki vs. Jamie Noble vs. Daivari vs. Shannon Moore vs. Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Chavo Guerrero - The match itself was decent but with this "gauntlet" format, nobody really has much time to show off what they can do. With that in mind, the match was decent but really disappointing for two reasons. One was the end of the Gregory Helms record setting title reign without a real storyline to it. And the second was that Chavo Guerrero came out as "a surprise entrant" but his picture was on the WWE.com website advertising the match so the surprise came off really flat & him winning the title was predictable.
Boogeyman & Little Boogeyman vs. Finlay & Little Bastard - This was just more of a comedy match than anything else but it got real dry at parts (ala whenever they went for their worms) and the ending made me laugh. Besides that, you'll either laugh or hate this one.
Kane vs. King Booker - Better match than I expected as Booker was able to give his first outstanding performance since those horrible series of matches with Batista and Kane has really revived his career since his move to SmackDown as this match will show. Plus the ending was a shocker since it ended cleanly.
WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. Deuce N' Domino - This is the second time that London & Kendrick have faced a rookie tag team just thrown together to give them something to do but unlike James & Stevens at No Mercy, the "Grease" rejects were just too green and it showed heavily in this match as I was really bored...which I'm normally not during a London & Kendrick match. This match looks even worse when you think that WWE cancelled the tag team Ladder Match in favor of this match. The only outstanding moment here was how the ending came together.
ECW Champion Lashley vs. Mr. Kennedy - I have to mention to check out the great heel promo Kennedy cut before this match. Unfortunately, Lashley didn't have an opponent like Test who makes him look better in comparison or someone like Finlay who can carry him to a good match. Kennedy did his best by telling a story in the ring & constantly working on the legs throughout the whole match but Lashley just was on the defense for most of the match. Eventhough the DQ finish happened & Lashley ended up beating the hell out of Kennedy...it didn't save face, as this was just a bad match for Lashley.
Diva Talent Invitational - Who would have ever thought the Miz was actually the best part of a diva segment? The ECW strippers did their "dance" with Kelly Kelly being off key as usual followed by Jillian attempting her William Hung impersonation before insulting all the divas who then came out for a catfight. Then Ashley came out & took off her top to show Playboy bunny pastries over her boobs while he Playboy cover was in the background. This was just to promote Ashley in Playboy magazine but overall, this was just even more stupid & dumb than a normal diva segment is.
Batista & Undertaker vs. John Cena & Shawn Michaels - We all know that we can depend on Undertaker & HBK to give us a match of the night while Cena & Batista have bad reputations for being champions "who can't wrestle." However, I'll go on record as to say that Cena upstaged Batista because Batista did his normal moves & normal effort he's shown since coming back from his injury while Cena stepped his game up by doing such moves as a legdrop for the top rope & his old "throwback." And the ending was just perfect to continue both storylines leading into the WrestleMania main events. This was better than last years "Main Event vs. Main Event" match on Saturday Night's Main Event.
Usually on the SmackDown PPV's...there's around 1-2 matches or segments to skip & enjoy the rest of the show but here, half the show was average to good while the rest was just bad. I recommend this for a rental & judge for yourself.
Another Average Pay Per View.......2007-02-20
WWE's No Way out 2007 was just another average pay per view. There were one or two good matches and a couple poor matches. Let's take a look at the matches:
The Hardy Boyz and Chris Benoit versus MNM and Montel Vontavius Porter:
This was a great way to kick off the show. These guys were given about fifteen minutes and they put a lot of effort into the match and it really shows. Although MVP looked a little out of place here, everyone else worked really well together. It's a shame that they have no storyline for Chris Benoit, but at least they found a way to work him into the pay per view.
Cruiserweight Open:
This was a decent match, but, as usual, the cruiserweights were not given a fair amount of time to show what they can do. The surprise entrant at the end of the match was a little predictable, but it was nice to see that the defending champion was not even involved in the conclusion of the match. The cruiserweight division has been stagnant for some time. But WWE needs to offer an alternative to TNA's X-Division, so the cruiserweights should be given more match time in the future. This match was a good way to start that off.
Finlay and Little Bastard versus the Boogeyman and Little Boogeyman:
There isnt a whole lot to say about this match as it was, really, more of a comedy than an actual match. There was a decent about of humor, and a little wrestling, but nothing outstanding in either regard.
King Booker versus Kane:
This was a really good match. Both Kane and Booker can wrestle and they were given enough time to put on a solid show. The match benefited also from a clean ending, which is so often absent from King Booker's matches. Kane has looked really good since moving over to Smackdown! and this match is no exception.
Paul London and Brian Kendrick (C) versus Deuce N' Domino:
It's a shame that there really is no tag team division to speak of. London and Kendrick are both capable of putting on very good matches. Although Deuce and Domino are not terrible wrestlers, they really could not keep up with London and Kendrick. Because of that, neither of the tag champions were not really able to show off, and this match did not amount to much of anything.
Bobby Lashley (C) versus Mr. Kennedy:
Although this match was better than expected, it was not a very good match. It was a typical Lashley match, so if you enjoy his work, you'll like this one. Mr. Kennedy did his best here, and made Lashley look acceptable, but this match really is not worth watching.
Diva Talent Invitational:
Another opportunity to squeeze the ladies in there. If you like the typical diva segment, than this will work for you. But it is nothing special or unique.
Batista and the Undertaker versus John Cena and Shawn Michaels:
This was easily one of the top two matches of the night. The buildup for this match has been wonderful, and it fits in perfectly with the overall buildup towards Wrestlemania. Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker carried this match and, as a result, both Batista and John Cena looked pretty good out there. Definitely worth a watch.
I cannot recommend that you buy this event. Like most WWE pay per views, there are one or two good matches and the rest of the matches are poor. As far as WWE events go, this was not bad, so if you typically buy the WWE dvds, you will not be disappointed. But if you generally do not buy the events, No Way Out 2007 is not for you.

Eddie Guerrero Wins The Big One.......2007-06-05
From his beginnings wrestling during the intermission with his nephew Chavo in Mexico at age 9 to being Tiger Mask in Japan to wrestling infront of a sold out crowd in a bingo hall to being held down in a promotion because of politics to dealing & overcoming demons to becoming WWE Champion...this was Eddie Guerrero's biggest night in his career.
WWE Tag Team Champions Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Basham Brothers & Shanquia - This match was entertaining for me as it served it's purpose & get the crowd warmed up for the rest of the show. There really isn't much in the forms of great tag team wrestling but it's a match that served it's purpose.
Jamie Knoble (who's wrestling blindfolded) vs. Nidia - This match had some comedic spots but for the most part was just a boring filler match to get the onscreen breakup of them over with so Nidia can move to RAW the next month. This should have been on a PPV.
Hardcore Holly vs. Rhyno - This was another boring filler here as the match was really slow paced instead of it being a brawl which both men are best at.
APA vs. World's Greatest Tag Team - This was one of APA's better tag team matches as they did some good storytelling with Hass & Benjamin working on Bradshaw's arm & him actually selling it. Average match but it looks better than it was being in the position of the card that it was.
Crusierweight Champion Chavo Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio - Out of all their series of matches this year...this was the best one they had. The crusierweight title was getting heavily pushed at this time so they were given plenty of time to go out there & tell a story in the match which worked out great & picked up the PPV with the live crowd.
Kurt Angle vs. John Cena vs. Big Show - All three men here put forth a good effort here to make this match worth wild. Show once again came off like a dominate monster instead of "Big Slow" as Cena & Angle worked on his at various times showing that he was THE THREAT in the match. Good storytelling by Cena as well as he was selling his bad knee that he got at the Rumble while Angle was in his prime during this match. Awesome triple threat.
WWE Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Eddie Guerrero - Match of the night right here as both men clicked & put on a great mat-based wrestling match with Brock just not being able to beat Eddie no matter what he throws at him. It's too bad Brock leaves a month later because I wanted to see a rematch between these two later on. Eddie didn't look inferior of the Lesnar & Goldberg did interfear very quickly but it doesn't take away from the end result of Eddie winning the championship & going straight into the people to celebrate. Eddie Guerrero finally won the big one.
(Also available on Eddie Guerrero's "Cheating Death, Stealing Life")
Overall, the best matches on here were the main events & the crusierweight title match as the rest of the card was either average to just plain boring. You can pick up the Eddie/Brock match on a DVD that has more quality matches so if your interested in the triple threat & crusierweight title match...I recommend for a rental or at a cheap price. Otherwise, I'd pass.
A great event. One of the best WWE produced PPV's I've seen.......2007-05-19
Truly, I wasn't expecting much save for warm-up for the PPV before the legendary Wrestlemania XX, but this one on its own was spectacular when compared to the likes of Armageddon 2003 or Insurrextion 2003. I've never been a fan of Smackdown, but this one really impressed me.
Individually, most of the matches were good, but there were some exceptions.
WWE Tag Team Championship Handicap Match
Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty vs The Basham Brothers and Shaniqua
All in all, this wasn't a great match, but somehow these five managed to make it a good one. Shaniqua involved in the match was also interesting, as WWE treats its Women's division like it wasn't there, and she actually did some wrestling and got attacked by Rikishi. (6/10)
Jamie Noble vs Nidia
Seeing Nidia in Tough Enough really makes it hard for us to get into this gimmick of hers without a proper suspension of disbelief, but still, this match wasn't so much a match. Jamie Noble is blindfolded, and Nidia childishly kicks his butt from behind and taunts him. The ending was dissatisfying, but at least it was over quickly. (1/10)
A.P.A. vs World's Greatest Tag Team
Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin are great technical wrestlers, and Faarooq and Bradshaw are just brawlers. The way these two teams worked with one another was really impressive. (7/10)
Hardcore Holly vs Rhyno
Virtually nothing of this match was memorable. I can't remember anything good about this match except that it was short. This is the sort of forgettable match you don't want to see on a pay per view, like Goldust vs Rico at Insurrextion 2003. (0/10)
WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero
I read some other reviews saying this was a great match. I think Rey Mysterio in the WWE is like a bird with his wings clipped, if not cut off altogether. You need only to watch some of his legendary matches in ECW or AAA or WCW, versus such people as Psicosis, Dean Malenko, and Eddie Guerrero to understand his immense talent. With WWE's watered-down booking, he's literally like a bird without wings. Chavo isn't very good on his own either, and in the middle of the match, I literally nodded off, almost fell asleep, and came to some time later without remembering what had happened before. A boring match. (3/10)
#1 Contender's Match
Kurt Angle vs John Cena vs The Big Show
John Cena is a joke. Whoever on the writing staff decided this guy was worthy of WWE championship and holding it for months on end without losing should be fired, at the very least. Kurt Angle is an amazing athlete, and he works well with the flat dud Cena. Even The Big Show is impressive in his own right, and seeing Angle barely pull off Olympic Slams on him is a shocking sight. Cena was a useless addition, in my opinion, as the stars of this match were clearly Angle and Big Show. (8/10)
WWE Championship Match
Brock Lesnar vs Eddie Guerrero
This was the highlight of the night without a doubt. Brock Lesnar I had always thought to be a big, dumb, blank-faced thug so thickly muscled that he could barely move. Aside from the fact that I'm totally wrong about that, he and Eddie Guerrero put on a great match that lasted over half an hour. At first I was worried (since I knew Guerrero would win) that Lesnar was dominating Guerrero too much early on in the match, but there was another 20 minutes to go, and Guerrero really played the underdog great, and did enough damage to Lesnar to justify a victory. The only flaw in this was that Goldberg came out and gave Lesnar a spear, potentially cheapening the victory for Guerrero, but they went on for a while longer. Best match I've seen between these two so far. (10/10)
I have to add the Sunday Night Heat bonus match in the extras
Tajiri, Akio, and Sakoda vs Ultimo Dragon, Paul London, and Billy Kidman
A ten out of ten match. I can't believe this one was regulated to Sunday Night Heat and not included into the pay per view. I haven't seen this sort of teamwork between Tajiri and his gang than in any tag team since the Hardy Boyz. It was also the first time I've seen a triple dropkick before. Everyone here is a cruiserweight, technical wrestler or high flyer, and it works like freaking poetry. (10/10)
Absolutely one of the best pay per views I've seen from WWE in a while (not including WWF events). Solid performances all around, save for a few weak links.

So, for old those sellers selling this for $7.00 to $8.00 used, you better come down, cause Wal-Mart has it for $3.88 NEW! oh, and there is no shipping charges at Wal-Mart..The used price for this should be around 1.00.

WWE NO WAY OUT IS A 3 STAR PPV.......2007-07-20
80-76%-perfect
75-71%-awsome
70-66%-good
65-61%-poor
60-56%-awful
1. Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Jericho- This was the right choice to kick off the ppv. I would say that both men have good chemistry and a good fast pace match to kick off the ppv was good. Jericho controlled a lot of the early being with lots of solid wrestling and the crowd loved it 100%. Hardy fought back and even hit the Swanton bomb on Jericho but he ended up escaping that as well. A good battle with hardy tapping to the walls of Jericho which was cool. Winner Chris Jericho. Match Rating 7.5/10.
2. William Regal and Lance Strom vs. RVD and Kane for the world tag team titles- This was a decent tag team match. It almost seemed like a filler but I passed pretty well. RVD and kane controlled most of the match early but than reagl and storm fought back. There was some great tag team wrestling by storm and regal with some sick suplexs on RVD by regal. Kane got the tag but when storm and regal went to rip off the mask kane accidentally chock slammed RVD. Match Rating 6.5/10.
3. Billy Kidman vs. Matt Hardy for the cruiserweight title- This was yet another solid match. This was nothing but a nice 10 minute fast pace match. Not a lot to say here just some solid high flying moves and great cruiserweight wrestling by both men. Winner and new wwe cruiserweight champ Matt Hardy. Match Rating 7/10.
4. The Big Show vs. Undertaker- This had a great storyline behind it with big show taking out taker 3 months back and taker came back for revenge. I usually am not a big fan for the big man matches but this was a really good one. Big Show controlled a lot of it but taker fought back. Even A-Train tried to come down and interfere but was stopped by taker. He got back in the ring and was chock slammed by the big show but he reversed it into a sick chock hold and he chock out big show. Sweet stuff right here. Winner Undertaker. Match Rating Rating 7/10.
5. Brock Lesnar, Chris Beniot, Edge vs. Kurt Angle, Shelton Benjamin, vs. Charlie Haas- This ended up being a 3 on 2 handicap match because Edge was taken out back stage before the match. With Edge out this match it became a huge technical wrestling match. In this match tons of suplexs and tons of mat work. This match flowed really well as sometime handicap matches don't go so well but this one was awesome with tons of near falls. Winners Brock Lesnar and Chirs Beniot. Match Rating 8.5/10.
6. HHH vs. Scott Stiner for the World Heavyweight Title- This was a good match. A lot of the crowd was against stiner in this match and were even chanting boring but it was not boring. This started out with stiner working on the leg of HHH. Than it turned into a little bit of a brawl with lots of shots to the steel steps. There was interference by evolution that led to a shot to the head by HHH on stiner but he kicked out. Winner andstill WHC HHH. Match Rating 7.5/10.
7. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Eric Bishoff- This is not really a match. This was more of Stone Cold coming back to ppv and kicking Eric Bishoffs A**. This is more of a segment some what entertaining but not really need on the card. Winner Stone Cold Steve Austin. Match Rating 3/10.
8. The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan 2- This was not as good as there first match at wrestlemania 18. I was not expecting this to be better but I was hoping it would still live up to the hype. This was still a good match but seemed a little rushed. There were a lot of near falls and a weird but kind of smart ending with a Vince screwjob which set up Hogan Mcmahon for wrestlemania 19. Winner The Rock. Match Rating 7/10.
Well that raps up another. I would give NO Way Out 2003 a grade of 54/80 which is a 68% which means this is a good ppv. I would recommend this DVD if you could get it off Ebay for a cheaper price. Not a bad dvd and a lot of solid matches. If you can tell me if my review was helpful or not I would appreciate that. Thanks for your time.
The Return Of Austin 3:16, The Rock, and Hollywood Hogan In The Same Night.......2007-06-05
For the first time since Survivor Series '97, WWE returned to PPV in Montreal, Quebec, Canada with it's last stop before WrestleMania XIX for No Way Out...and you can bet your money that someone is going to get "screwed" before the night is over.
Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Jericho - It was originally suppost to be Test but Hardy replaced him less than a week before the event. This was actually Jeff Hardy's last WWE PPV event & this match had Jeff actually putting in a good effort against Jericho who had the canadian crowd on his side. Good opener but the real highlight was the aftermath involving Shawn Michaels & the crowd reaction to HBK coming down to ringside. Boy, these canadian fans don't forget anything...even if it's over 5 years later.
World Tag Team Champions Lance Storm & William Regal vs. Kane & RVD - This match looks mismatched on paper with all the different styles between the four men involved but actually came off pretty well. The ending was a little cheap (Kane gets his masked twisted around) but it didn't take away from an above average match.
Crusierweight Champion Billy Kidman vs. Matt Hardy - Taking away the funny storyline of Hardy losing weight to qualify for the title match...the match was fast paced & not boring without it being a spotfest as Matt Hardy won the Crusierweight title.
Undertaker vs. Big Show - Anyone who says this match is boring is probably just not a fan of a "big man vs. big man" match as they actually had a good match with Undertaker pulling out some new moves that you would see in mixed martial arts federations like UFC. Big Show held his own here as a monster as well.
Brock Lesnar & Chris Benoit vs. Team Angle - WWE knew that Edge wasn't going to be able to wrestler in this match but they went ahead & advertised it anyway but had someone take out Edge backstage (and we still don't know who did it to this day) making this a handicap match. A great match here with all five participants as it build up the tease of what to expect from Angle/Brock WM main event even more. This is mostly highlighted as the match that started to give Kurt Angle neck problems as you see during one point where Brock drops Angle on the top turnbuckle & Kurt went down for over a minute. Nobody in this match missed a beat eventhough Edge couldn't participate.
World Champion Triple H vs. Scott Steiner - Boy, the crowd gave this match the most heat of the night. First, they were booing Steiner & then eventually turned on the match itself. It was better than their match the month before at the Rumble only because it didn't go as long but this match was just to further establish Triple H's group of Evolution as they cost Steiner the belt in the end.
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Eric Bischoff - You've heard Austin say that he's gonna open up a can of whoop-ass plenty of times...but here's what he means when say that. Austin completely destroyed Bischoff with Jim Ross (who was injured by Bischoff the week earlier on RAW) on commentary yelling non-stop. And Austin gave Bischoff stunner after stunner. The Rattlesnake was back!
Hollywood Hogan vs. The Rock - This is a match for those to watch that says The Rock is a horrible wrestler because The Rock carried this match as Hogan didn't do much as he did limited moves to offset The Rock's offense & get the crowd to pop. This match just like the previous Triple H/Steiner match was just a backdrop to further develop a storyline in which Mr. McMahon ended up using a referee to screw the hero (Hogan) out of a victory in Montreal, Canada...sounds like deja vu doesn't it? Overall, this was an entertaining match thanks The Rock's efforts but if your expecting the same type of match they had a WrestleMania then don't get your hopes up.
Overall, there really wasn't a bad match on this card as all the matches on here were solid & none were below average. I recommend.
WWE No Way Out 2003.......2007-06-03
Great product. The No Way Out Series are pretty good to have in your collection. Some of the earlier years, I don't know too many of the wrestlers, but I buy them anyway to have. You can see how things change and how much more aggressive wrestling gets each year.
NO WAY OUT 2003 GREAT PPV !!!!!!.......2007-05-06

Rock wins again!

Description
February 17, 2002, Milwaukee, WI. A lethal virus has been unleashed on the World Wrestling Federation, it's called...The nWo. Hulk Hogan returns to the WWF! The day the World Wrestling Federation fans never thought they'd see! The nWo is coming to the Federation! Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and yes... Hulk Hogan!
Customer Reviews:
The Poison Of The nWo Arrives.......2007-06-01
Scott "Razor Ramon" Hall, Kevin "Diesel" Nash, and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan returned to the WWF under the group known as the nWo. The nWo for the most part would be involving in the beginning & end of the show along with some backstage segments but for the most part, this PPV was another step on the road to WrestleMania & helped established the programs going into the event.
Tag Team Turmoil Match: This was an average opening match with nothing really memorable about it once it was over. Everyone put forth a solid opener & got the crowd into it so it served it's purpose.
Rob Van Dam vs. Goldust - RVD's at his best when he's allowed to go fast paced & high flyin' but that wasn't the case here as Goldust had RVD grounded & one the defense for a majority of the match here before pulling off the eventual victory. This match isn't boring but it's obiviously a filler.
Tag Team Champions Tazz & Spike Dudley vs. Booker T & Test - Tazz & Spike Dudley were again playing the underdog role here against two former teammates in the former WCW/ECW alliance. Booker T was the main workhorse here & deserves credit for making what would have came off as another dull filler somewhat more entertaining than it would have been. But again, this was just like the previous match...it came off as nothing more than a filler.
Brass Knuckles On A Pole Match: Intercontinental Champion William Regal vs. Edge - Regal & Edge's styles of wrestling do not clash well together & have produced two boring matches at the two previous PPV's. This was one match that again bored me.
The Rock vs. Undertaker - These two have a great match here between the two of them as it was pretty much straight up & didn't involve anything extreme like their previous one-on-one PPV encounter (on Undertaker's DVD). Rock looked dead set on revenge while Undertaker was just beating The Rock down. The ending involved Ric Flair setting up their match at WrestleMania.
Winner Gets The WrestleMania Title Shot: Triple H vs. Kurt Angle (Special Referee: Stephanie McMahon) - If you've seen one "special referee" match where the referee was heavily biases towards one wrestler then you've seen them all & this was no exception here. The entire focus of this match was Stephanie & Triple H while Kurt Angle played the background character...the same role Jericho would play in the WrestleMania main event the next month. I'll give it credit here as Stephanie took & delivered some comedic bumps here but she was the entire focus here & it took away from what could have been an awesome contest here just knowing what both men were made of.
Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho vs. Stone Cold - This was better than their Vengeance matchup but then again, both men started off fresh this time instead of Jericho already wrestling a long match right before. I don't know what it was about this match but it didn't have the main event feel to it as the crowd wasn't heavily into it & the match itself got real slow & dull at times...which it rarely does during an Austin match. The ending came when the nWo came out & attacked Austin helping Jericho escape with the titles before spraypainting Austin.
In the end, this was one of those PPV's that is average & watchable but nothing here was memorable except the start of the WWE version of the nWo. If you can find this really cheap & have some spare bucks then go ahead but otherwise, you can pass.
NWO comes to the wwf.......2007-04-09
THIS EVENT WILL BE REMEMBERED PRIMARLY FOR THE DEBUT OF THE NWO IN THE WWF. HOGAN, HALL, AND NASH WALK DOWN THE AISLE AT THE BRADLEY CENTER TO KICK OFF THE SHOW. THEY THANKED VINCE FOR GIVING THEM A CHANCE AND COMPARED THEMSELVES TO THE WRESTLING FANS. WHEN IT CAME TIME FOR HOGAN TO SPEAK, HE GOT A NICE POP. NOTABLE MATCHES AT THIS EVENT INCLUDE: RVD VS. GOLDUST ( THIS WAS ACTUALLY A GOOD MATCH), HHH VS. ANGLE W/ STEPHANIE AS REFEREE (A GOOD MATCH WHICH FEATURED HHH GETTING SCREWED AT THE END), ROCK VS. UNDERTAKER ( THESE TWO NEVER DISAPPOINT), AND AUSTIN VS. JERICHO FOR THE UNDISPUTED WWF TITLE. HAD THE NWO NOT INTERFERED AND COST AUSTIN THE TITLE, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN AUSTIN VS. HHH IN THE MAIN EVENT OF WRESTLEMANIA 18 ( OH WELL). THIS WAS A GREAT EVENT AND A GOOD LEAD-IN TO WRESTLEMANIA 18. EVERY WRESTLING FAN OUGHT TO CHECK THIS ONE OUT.
no Way out 2002.......2006-11-26
No Way Out 2002
Best Performence - Stone Cold Steve Austin
Best Match - Kurt Angle vs Triple H -#1 Contender Stephanie McMahon Guest Referee
Opening Match Scotty 2 Hotty & Albert vs Christian & Lance Storm vs Hardy Boyz w/Lita vs Dudley Boyz w/Stacy Keibler vs Billy & Chuck vs APA - Tag Team Turmoil Title Shot at WrestleMania X8
Great return from the Hardy Boyz as they put on a high pace show. The Hardyz and the Dudleyz worked the best together but the match never got boring and the crowd was into the match. Nice opener.
Best Performence - Matt Hardy
Match Rating 8/10
2nd Goldust vs Rob Van Dam
Rob Van Dam was grounded most of the match as Goldust used his offensive for the majority of the match. The exciting points of the match were Rob Van Dam offensive but were few and far between. Goldust also didn't have much heel heat to make the match better.
Best Performence - Rob Van Dam
Match Rating 5.5/10
3rd Booker T & Test vs C-Tazz & C-Spike Dudley - WWF Tag Team Championship
Spike Dudley is terrible, Booker T put on a great show carrying Tazz and Spike Dudley even though Tazz can wrestle Booker put on a show. He looked very good and showed he should be in more important matches.
Best Performence - Booker T
Match Rating 4.5/10
4th Edge vs C-William Regal - IC Championship Brass Knuckles on a Pole
William Regal had a great match, he really showed he can wrestle but there was just too much going after the pole and not enough high impact moves after that. The brass knuckles really didnt come into play and Edge didnt show how well he can wrestle.
Best Performence - William Regal
Match Rating 6/10
5th The Undertaker vs The Rock
Well somehow this turned into a No DQ match because both men should have been DQ'ed and Counted Out in this match. The Undertaker dominated the early match with the Rock not having much offense until the end of the match. The owners got involved to keep this match interesting as in the beginning the match was a little poor.
Best Performence - The Rock
Match Rating 8/10
6th Kurt Angle vs Triple H - Hunter's WrestleMania X8 Title Opportunity Special Guest Referee Stephanie McMahon
The deck is stacked against the game but is quickly shifted when Angle clotheslines Stephanie. The match has some humor and some great wrestling from Angle and Hunter. I will never forget the elbow Stephanie dropped on Tim White, Great Moment.
Best Performence - Kurt Angle
Match Rating 9.1/10
Main Event Stone Cold Steve Austin vs C-Chris Jericho - Undisputed Championship
Austin showed why he was on of the best ever to wrestle but Jericho didnt live up to his ability. Jericho is a great wrestler but made to many mistakes. Again both men should have been DQ'ed and Counted Out but things happen. nWo.
Best Performence - Stone Cold Steve Austin
Match Rating 8.5/10
49.6/70 = 71%
Triple Main Event was right Three good matches and nice opener with crap in the middle. However the nWo returns and have funny altercations with The Rock and Stone Cold so I recommend this to all viewers.

Not the best,but a good NWO.......2006-02-19
This No Way Out featured a first-ever main event. It was good and should be used a little more.
1.Basham Brothers vs. Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio(WWE Tag Team Championship)
This was a great tag team match.Eddie and Rey can steal the show one-on-one, and apparantly they can do it as a tag team. There was a good mixture of fast-paced high-flying action and slow-paced pure wrestling.9 out of 10.
2.Booker T vs. Heidenreich
This was basically a filler, and it showed. It had the potential to be decent, but it just lagged on too much and the DQ ending hurt it.5 out of 10.
3.6-man elimination match.(WWE Cruiserweight Championship)
Paul London vs. Akio vs. Spike Dudley vs.Chavo Guerrero vs. Shannon Moore vs. Funaki
This was a good Cruiserweight match with big moves, but it just felt like some people got eliminated too quickly.8 out of 10.
4.Luther Reigns vs. Undertaker
This was a typical big man match, with power moves and slower action. I think that Luther should have gotten a bigger push because he had potential.7 out of 10.
Rookie Diva Contest
Joy Giovanni vs. Rochelle Loewen vs. Michelle McCool vs. Lauren Jones
This was a contest throughout the night. You could tell that Joy would win because of the crowd's reactions. There was an evening gown contest, talent contest and a swimsuit contest.10 out of 10.(Just because of the hot girls)
5.John Cena vs. Kurt Angle(Winner becomes #1 contender at Wrestlemania)
This was an excellent match. These two have good coordination together in the ring, and it shows in this match. I also liked what Eddie Guerrero said to Cena earlier in the night. It was inspirational.Outstanding performance between these two great competitors.10 out of 10.
6.First-Ever barbed wire steel cage match(WWE Championship)
JBL vs. Big Show
This was a good attempt at a first-ever match, and I think they should have more of these matches. It was brutal. When JBL looked for an opening through the barbed wire, his wrist got cut open.
The ending was very unexpected and I liked what happened after the match. The match was highlited by a chokeslam through the ring off the top rope.It wasn't a perfect match, and I think that they could improve on this type of match.9 out of 10.

Solid Card for Smackdown but Taker vs Angle is the highlight........2007-09-05
I have to admit, it has been a long time since I watched wrestling from this time. It just does not seem to be as great as it was before. Especially having talent-less guys like John Cena become World Champions. However, WWE No Way Out is the exception of those events. Lets get to the matches:
Cruiserweight Championship: Gregory Helms vs Scotty 2 Hotty vs Paul London vs Brian Kendrick vs Super Crazy vs Psicosis vs Nunzio vs Kid Kash vs Funaki. This was a great way to start the card off. These cruiserweights give us a great pace matchup filled with some exciting stunts. So far we are good..
Bobby Lashley vs JBL. This was the first time that I have seen Lashley wrestle a match, since I have not watched WWE more now. I have to say that since I knew JBL was a horrible wrestler and I did not know who Lashley was, it was hard for me to get into this one. As for the match itself, it was not bad with some great suplexes by Lashley. A little slow but still okay.
Matt Hardy & Tatanka vs MNM. Why not Jeff Hardy?? O well maybe some other time. This was a fair paced tag team match with Tatanka keeping up the youngersters. Good teamwork from both sides and of course Melina's entrance; WOW.
United States Championship: Booker T vs Chris Benoit. This was the best match that these two had. Both men worked really hard to bring their best. There are a few rest spots but I forgave it since this was the best of their series of matches, so I was told.
Winner goes to WrestleMania to face the champion: Rey Mysterio vs Randy Orton. I did not like the whole storyline because it used Eddie Guerrero's death in it, so it was hard to appreciate this one. To me, this one was nothing too special and acutally expected better. Again, not a dull match but it had potential.
Main Event: World Heavyweight Championship: Kurt Angle vs The Undertaker. This is the main reason that any fan should buy this event. These two not only put up the Match of the Night but in my opinion, the Match of the YEAR. This one starts off with both men sizing each other up, has some nearfalls, great submissions by both and even brawling. To me, this match seemed to be the WWE's verison of MMA, except with the highlight of the match; which was Angle slamming Taker through the announce table. There is just great action throughout this one and please don't let this one pass you by. This is a true CLASSIC in the making.
A 5 STARS PPV!!!!!!!.......2007-05-15
1. Gregory Helms won the Battle Royal to retain the CW Championship 9/10
2. Matt Hardy and Tatanka def MNM 8/10 (cuz the Tag Titles weren't on the

3. JBL def Bobby Lashley with the help from Finlay 8.5/10
4. Chris Benoit def Booker T to win the U.S Championship 9/10
5. Randy Orton def Rey Mysterio to win Rey's WM Title Opportunity 8/10
6. WHC Kurt Angle def Undertaker to retain the title 10/10 (ONE OF THE

No Way Out 2006.......2007-03-10
(Cruiserweight Championship)
Kid Kash vs Psicosis vs Super Crazy vs Paul London vs Nunzio vs Brian Kendrick vs Scotty 2 Hotty vs Funaki vs Gregory Helms:Since naming the opponents takes so much room, let me sum it up: Little Cruiserweights run around doing their neat flips for 25 minutes and then the match closes with it's painfully predictable ending. 6.5/10
Lashley vs JBL:This match could have been a great fight between 2 great superstars, but instead JBL cheats and wins. (Surprise!) 5/10
Matt Hardy and Tatanka vs Johnny Nitro and Joey Murcury:Better than you might expect. A good length and pace make this near PPV quality stuff. MH and TTK make a great team. 7/10
(United States Championship)
Chris Benoit vs Booker T:Anytime Chris Benoit steps into that ring, you know you've got one hell of a match. This is no exception. 8/10
(Wrestlemania Title Opportunity)
Rey Mysterio vs Randy Orton:This was simply a great match. Surprises were around every corner. That's what we've come to expect from little Rey. In the end, you think you've got it all figured out, and then.... 8.5/10
(World Heavyweight Championship)
Undertaker vs Kurt Angle:This match was REALLY long, a good 50 minutes. It got slow at points, but never failed to please. I loathed the ending, but even I can't deny the quality of the match put on by the 2 superstars. 9/10
Overall:The pacing could have used some work (the first 3 matches were really dull, and the final 3 were edge of your seat exciting) but still, this is a great PPV that would be a great addition to your collection. 8/10
No Way Out 2007.......2006-12-03
This PPV will change to be a joint PPV, as Smackdown are battling to have a good PPV by themselves.
I expect it to be something like No Way Out 2003, where there are some legends who come back.
Match 1 - Benoit vs Chavo Guerrero
This should be a great match, something like survivor series 2006, I expect Chavo Guerrero to win, this will allow Benoit to have a title shot at wrestlemania 23 ( 8 - 12 min )
Match 2 - Mickie James vs Maria
Just your average Women's match. Very short maybe 2min. Winner : Mickie James
Match 3 - Crusierweight Invitational
Again a very short match, I expect Gregory Helms to retain ( 4 min )
