Created at least in part due to popular demand, Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars will provide some closure to fans who were dismayed by the demise of the popular science fiction television show in 2003 and campaigned mightily to bring it back. Indeed, this miniseries (originally broadcast over two nights on the Sci-Fi Channel) will likely appeal primarily to the Farscape faithful, as the somewhat convoluted storyline may prove baffling to the uninitiated.
A brief bit of backstory explains how John Crichton, an astronaut from Earth, went through a wormhole and ended up on Moya, a living spaceship, with a motley group of aliens, including D'Argo (Anthony Simcoe), Chiana (Gigi Edgley), various puppet characters (designed by the Jim Henson Company), and Aeryn (Claudia Black), Crichton's love interest, who's expecting their first child. As The Peacekeeper Wars begins, our heroes find themselves in the middle of a war-to-end-all-wars between the lizard-like, implacably evil Scarrans and their rivals, the Peacekeepers. Crichton is the lynchpin in all of this, as his knowledge of "wormhole technology" is coveted by all, including his old nemesis Scorpius (Wayne Pygram), who captured and tortured Crichton back in season 1 and with whom Crichton must now form an uneasy alliance against the Scarrans.
Over the course of the three-hour miniseries, we get lots of weird- and cool-looking aliens, some nice sets and special effects, plenty of battles, and lots of portentous talk about the fate of the universe--nothing especially original, but all presented with outstanding production values. There's drama and action, love and betrayal, tragedy and triumph, war and, ultimately, peace, with a suitably spectacular ending (and a nod to Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey). With a 30-minute "making of" documentary among the DVD special features, The Peacekeeper Wars is a fitting way to end the Farscape saga. --Sam Graham

Great Finale.......2007-09-03
Farscape creators did an excellent job bringing closure to this adventure. We learned even more about John's hidden wormhole knowledge and more about Jool's ancestors and their link to the human race. I won't say too much for those of you that have not caught up with the series but please keep in mind it is indeed a great end to a very fun adventure. Alhough it was a great ending, there is definitely room for more.
Incidentally there is talk about Farscape webisodes so it seems to me that the adventure will continue if Ben Browder and Claudia Black can sign on for the much talked about webisodes.
Why did it have to end.........2007-08-24
Claudia Black has always been a Fav actress of mine and she realy nails it in Farscape.. This was a series I didn't want to end.. Peace keeper wars explained a fair bit that was missing..
Peacekeeper Wars.......2007-07-28
If you watched the whole series from day one, this movie is a must have. It ties together most everything that was left hanging from the series. Awesome!
Phenomenal.......2007-07-09
I have been a Farscape fan for a long while and bought this when it first came available. This is a fitting conclusion to Farscape. While I would have absolutely LOVED a season 5, this will do. This is also one of the 2 movies that made me cry; the other being The Passion. I will not spoil it for those who maybe have not seen this yet, but I am not one who normally cries over a movie or mini, but I wept like a baby after watching this. It is typical Farscape; expect the unexpected. Watch this, love this, enjoy this.
Loved it!.......2007-07-01
I really like Farscape, so all I can say about it is positive. The characters are superb, the plots are good, and the humour is welcomed!
Really like the romance between Aeryn and Chricton, because it's not typical, and loved Chiana becauzse she is so cheeky! ;)
It was a good way to give clousere to the serie. But I have to recognize I'm still shocked it got cut... it was an awesome production!!!!!! Going to better all the way!!!!

Almost like Star Wars, but different.......2006-04-19
When I first saw this show, and watched Eclair in action with the robots, I thought 'Oh, it's THAT kind of show.' But I was wrong. Kiddy Grade is simply awesome. The characters are very interesting, ranging from "abilities" controlled and decided by that person's heredity. The storyline is different, too. In star century 0165, the Global Union was born, and to provide impartial mediator's to the various planetary governments of the Global Union, the GOTT (Galactic Organization of Trades and Tariffs) was formed to settle economic disputes amongst the members planets. Existing in the GOTT's shadows are E.S. (Encounter of Shadow) members that serves as the GOTT's primary law enforcement organization. E.S. members are grouped into pairs, usually having different abilities. ES member's Eclair and Lumiere are on the front line, pursuing all manner of criminals and bringing them to justice. For 16-year-old Eclair and 10-year-old Lumiere, Eclair has the "Power" ability, which is used as superhuman speed and strength, while Lumiere's "Puppet" controls over any electrical device. I have not watched the whole series, but this series looks very interesting, and for the extra-lovers fans, there is an image gallery, japanese promotional video (sadly, no subtitles) and original commercials, character profiles and funimation trailers. A must-see for scifi fans.
^_^.......2005-11-21
This series is simply amazing. Although the first disc or two can be a little slow and confusing, the whole thing ties together beautifully. This series has an amazingly inventive storyline, absolutely stunning art, and seems to have the same few reviews putting it down on every single site- note the three low reviews. Cut and pasted (and many with false information) and in the exact same order on at least a dozen websites I've found.
But this story centers around Éclair and Lumière, and takes place in the far future. The two girls are C-Class ES members of the GOTT (Galactic Organization of Trade and Tariffs). The main undercurrent throughout the series is Éclair's lack of memories, and that really takes center stage later on.
You also get to meet many other characters- S-Class members Sinistra and Dextera (a common fan Yaoi pairing) S-Class members A-ou and Un-ou (the same, although not as common) S-Class Alv and Dverger (who saying much about would spoil the whole series) S-Class Tweedledee and Tweedledum (twin brother and sister, the brother is quite obviously in love with his sister, although she rather likes Lumière), C-Class Viola and Cesario (call it Lolita ^_~ Cesario never speaks, and they have a very strong power, but must be touching to use it.) You also meet Armbrust/Armblast, who has a very confusing position, Eclipse (Head of the GOTT), and Eclipse's Secretary Mercredi.
Confused yet? ^_^ Don't worry, you don't meet everyone right away. I'd advise buying the first few discs used, but for safety's sake getting at least 7 and 8 new, as they are by far the best discs in the series- and truly stand out among the best of anime.
Listen to the 1 Star.......2005-09-30
I too bought this Anime after watching the trailer for it and I should have stopped pay attention to it after watching the opening half of the first episode. I was hoping it would get better, though I wasted my time watching the second half. The trailer looked great; well drawn anime, awesome graphics, and cool robots. The equation of a good anime, but the story was so very weak. It wasn't thrilling or electrifying, it was actually rather boring. And don't get me started about the undergarments. In the very first fight, Éclair, jumps up and off a desk, and all you see is her underwear under her very short skirt. And you see it again and again as she kicks all over. I don't know how the story develops after the first episode, but I surely don't care to find out. Don't waiting your time think about buying it, Kiddy Grade just isn't worth it.
Don't even bother!.......2005-05-22
I bought this Anime after watching the Trailer for it and I got rid of it after watching 10minutes. It was just porn. I prefer Yaoi and what do I get? Some chicks throwing kicks around to show their underwear and shots that just zoom in on their underwear or their boobs. Don't ever buy this Anime. It's disguisting and degrading.
Bleh..Not worth buying.......2005-03-11
This Review contains spoilers...Thank you:
The story focuses around two S class agents of the GOTT (Galactic Organization of Trades and Tariffs): Eclair, and Lumiere. Eclair is super fast, strong, generic super hero stuff (though she does have a lipstick whip which is a pretty inventive weapon). Lumiere is a robot/cyborg..whatever and has the ability to hack into computer systems as well as take
control of or disable most electronic devices.
One beef I have with the show is the characters.
Eclair is quick to anger, and reckless. She can also be flashy and a tad annoying.. Coming onto the bridge of an enemy ship to distribute an arrest warrant dressed as pizza delivery girls? What the hell is that? It's not funny, it's not clever, it's just childish.
Lumiere is just the opposite. Calm, quiet, reserved, or as she says mulitple times "elegant." Lumiere also has a penchant for annoyance, as she is always reminding Eclair that "A lady should be more elegant."
Armblast seems to be a rip off of another well dressed hero who also carried around a ridiculously huge metal weapon..cough*Wolfwood*cough.
It also gets repetative when when these two ladies need to phone in for arrest clearance, and their chief says, "Clearance granted, it's your show girls." X-P
Alv and Devrgr are also agents of the GOTT, and team up with E. and L. in the episode "Tight Bind." During the episode a gravity bomb goes of on a deserted prison station and it turns into every woman for herself as Alv and Devrgr hijack Eclair's ship (why are the ships of the good guys' always red?), La Muse and ditch their temporary allies. If the ships AI hadn't turned around to head back, Eclair and Lumiere would be dead. Now I'm all for backstabbing and betrayals in a story. It's there to spice things up, to make you say "Wow I didn't see that coming." or "Aww I really liked that charcter, now he/she's an a**hole" However, having your own team members voluntarily leave you to die, and then to see them as you walk into the office Monday morning...it's just stupid.
I don't know how the story progresses after the first disc, but the first few Episodes made me not want to find out. Rent it if you're curious, but don't waste the $26 - $30 to own it.

ONe on Dolphs better movies...great action seensas usual...Montel williams ruins the movie...can't act for save his life...Great to add to collection of Lungren movies.
Not Dolph's fault.......2004-10-16
I read some where that Dolph had said something along the lines that they had run out of money and had only half a day or so to film the martial art scenes for the movie. Its hard to criticise Dolph for this one. The script is not very good to start with and Dolph is given very little to try and work with. The second half of this movie which suffers from badly staged action pieces, does not live up to the well staged and enjoyable first half. The plot is an obvious Under Siege rip-off. This one is watchable but Dolph has done better before and in later movies after this one. A better script and more attention to the action set pieces and this could of been a winner.
FANTASTIC MOVIE.......2003-11-20

Cool Vids.......2007-01-11
This sis a very well put together series, It also has ties to "Angel Links". I am not usually impressed with the newer anime's I have been buying but I like this one, its very lol, "elegant" if you know about lumiere's elegant ways :)
GET IT!.......2006-10-08
I have watched ALL eight Kiddy Grade DVDs! This is the first DVD (It also comes with a nice box to put future DVDs.)of a GREAT, anime series! Personaly, this is my FAVORITE anime...It takes place FAR, FAR, WAAAY FAR into the furture...Its about these two girls, Eclair and Lumiear. They work at The Galactic office of Trade and Tariffs, or GOTT. The series starts out with every eposode starting out with a new story, lator, the story starts to tie together.
This anime is so good, my MOM liked it! And It takes alot for her to like a show thats rated "Teen!"! And my Dad was in the living room when me and my friend was watching it, and he he sat down and started watching it...He thought is was a bit intresting, And it take A WHOLE LOT for him to even watch a CARTOON!
The Animation is great.
As usual, the English acting sucks, but all anime is like that. The voices are good, But the acting is not.
Besides, watching Anime is more fun in the original format.
Kiddy Grade more like Adult Grade.......2005-07-12
Kiddy Grade is a great anime show it's like the female verion of gundam wing. Eclair and Lumiere are a great team that made up a group call GOTT. The girls act like girls at times but when theirs work to do they know when to ack serious.
AWESOME!!!!! A total must get!!!!.......2005-04-03
I bought this D.V.D. starter set and watched it with my friend. We both got hooked at once and wanted to buy all 8! It is about an organazation called GOTT. In GOTT they pair up and sort of save the world. The main team is made up of two people named Eclair and Lumiere. They are two great characters! This is a total MUST get for all anime lovers! YOU SHOULD GET IT!!!!
I HIGHLY recommend this starter set!!!!!
Dirty Pair for the 21st Century.......2004-12-15
This is truly an Anime that carrys over the tradition and the spirit of Kei and Yuri, the Lovely Angels. or we know and love them, The Dirty Pair. Lumiere and Eclaire are well matched and well acted (Collen Clinkenbeard and Monica Rial) as the two members of GOTT who go out and mix it up with intersting levels of mayhem and adventure. The interaction and supporting players are excellent and the story gets better with each installment. I am only waiitng for the boxed set to come out so that I can have all the DVDs at one shot, possibly with extras.
I heartily recommend it to any and all anime lovers.
