Demitri the vampire has fought against the great ruler BELIAL who crushed him in a deadly fight in which he lost! A few hundred years later he would arise before all humans could prevent his coming in which he seeks his reign upon the Aensland clan who is now ruled by Belial's daughter Morrigan. Meanwhile a Damphiro half demon half human seeks to find the trail that will lead him to the murderer of the humans! And later is joined by the bewitched child Anita, who seeks a reason why a demon would meddle with human affairs. And the all mighty Pyron who seeks someone to fight with that is capable of giving him the greatest rush of his life!

night warriors was a very good anime too watch. i was pretty happy the the cgi scenes, and animations. so if you love animes with nice design go see this one.

I gave this DVD 5 stars because it is SO much better than the American-adapted version ("Out of the Shadow" and "Battle Storm"). I remember watching the American version during Saturday morning cartoon, and it was awful! Like who the heck is this Harry guy? And why does he and Felicia has some sort of relationship going on? It was confusing and terrible.

This version is much better. More violence, more gore, more action, better graphics and (slightly) better storyline. If I remember correctly, there are several key developments...the threat of Pyron, Felicia helping out the humans, and Donovan's lonesome fight with his inner-demon. There are indeed a lot of characters who got left out -- Sasquatch, Victor, Lilith, Anakaris, Jedah, Rikuo, etc.

What I thought they should do was expand on it and make it into a long-running OAV series (like Gundam or *gasp* DragonBall). The reason is because there are just WAY too many characters and every fan wants to see his/her favorite! Each character is powerful in its own way, so I don't like how this movie shows Pyron beating up others so quickly. Furthermore, I felt like the movie gave too much "power" to Donovan and made Felicia look like a helpless kitten. I really hope that someone picks up on this classic and make a good running series on it.

Where the hell is Felicia and Jon.......2004-05-05

I bought this dvd and it was o.k. But i don't see the need to have every episode focus on Donovan. I hate Donovon. Where the hell were Anakaris, Raptor, Demitri, Morrigan and most importantly Jon and Felicia. They should have focused more on the love between Morrigan and Demitri instead of those bitchy Darkstalker hunting sisters. They should have shown more Raptor, Felicia and Jon instead of having Donavan bitch about his blood. Just kill your self if you hate your self so much. Worse still Sasquatch, Victor, and Anakaris are only shown getting beaten up by Pyron. This is o.k. and great for any fans of the game, but don't focus on the crappiest charecters.

Morrigan was hot, but that's about it........2004-03-20

I got the first episode on VHS and I liked it alright. It had most of the characters and was enjoyable. Then I made the mistake of buying the other three. I was very disappointed, they didn't even have Lord Raptor in any later ones and they just kept centering on a really boring story line. The whole thing didn't make much sense at all.

I'm sure I'm going to get people voting that this wasn't helpful because they know the backstory of the Darkstalkers and will have figured out the story fast, but as someone going in with a (mostly) blank slate, it was just confusing.

Really good. Darkstalkers has pretty much has been a favorite game series of mine for a long time, so this was a treat for me. My only complaints is that I wish they made an anime based on the third game (I am a big Lilith fan) and that this series had too much scenes of Donavon (not one of my favorite characters). But other than that, I really enjoyed this.

[2.5] night of the so-so.......2007-09-11

I'm not a huge fan of Lorenzo Lamas, but I purchased this movie since it's focus is around illegal underground fighting. That end up being a dissapointment since there were only two underground fights in the film. There was little other action throughout, and the story treads along similar ground that other martial arts films use. Overall, this was an ok film that ended up being a pretty boring watch.

For what there is, the acting could have been far worse. Lamas doesn't do too bad a job, but he always seems too tiresome when he acts in his films, and its no different here. Kathleen Kinmont is his love interest in the film, the same girl who seems to play his love ineterst in many of his other films such as Final Round and Final Impact. James Lew (Timecop, Perfect Weapon, Showdown) makes a nice appearance as the fighter Miles Keane (Lamas) fights in the end, although the fight wasn't very inspiring and a bit slow paced.

This ends up being a pretty unexciting movie that doesn't give much. For what it is, its ok and the highlight of creativity goes to some interesting musical choices, especially the tunes in the nightclub. The fighting is sparse and weak and the story is nothing you haven't seen before.

A dissapointment to Lorenzo Lamas fans!.......2001-05-21

This movie only had 2 offical fight scenes! And there were some additional "fight scenes" where Lorenzo gets jumped, and one where he goes into this guys night club and beats up a few men. Not incredibly bad storyline, but almost no fighting! Lorenzo doesn't even do his jumping pump roundhouse (a move which he is most notable using in his TV show Renegade). The movie came out one year before his show started, so I guess he was desperate for a role, so he didn't mind starring in this film. Lorenzo plays Miles Keane, a night club owner and photographer. He payed off his loan to the guy who gave it to him by fighting for him. His employer wants him to fight again, he refuses, and then gets framed for murder. Lorenzo has to fight again to save his mom and his girlfriend. This movie only gets one star because Lorenzo Lamas is in it.

An action movie for the intelligent movie goer........1999-09-18

This a kickboxer movie with a story line, in - depth character studies and some downright good acting. Throw in some great music numbers for background and you've got a winner. Kathleen Kinmot and Lorenzo Lamas are at their sizzling best.Anthony Geary is someone you love to hate and Arlene Dahl is super as the star lost in the past. All the actors are at their best.
