3 out of 5 stars Bad picture quality, but still worth watching.......2007-07-21

Lee I Min, Sun Jung Chi and some fat guy team up to take on Peng Kong (Dead Eye) and his gang. There is high reward out for Peng Kong, and the 3 bumbling idiots figure that they can get lucky and take down him. After using their tricks and average kung fu skills, they realize that they have no chance. Luckily, a group of beggars saves the trio's lives. An Indian waiter also tries his best to help them. The beggars know a hermit that knows kung fu, and tries to get him to teach the 3. He finally agrees, and proves to be a tough teacher. When a girl that Lee I Min likes is kidnapped by Peng Kong, him and his friends have to use their new kung fu skills to save her. There is a nice little twist at the end with the villain, and the story is not too bad overall. This is partly a love story, but mainly a comedy.

Peng Kong and Sun Jung-chi did the action for Shaolin Vs Lama and The Leg Fighters. While this movie isn't up to the standards of those 2, it is still fun to watch. Mark Long and Wong Chi Sang have cameos, and the final fight is definitely worth sticking around for.

3/5

The picture is presented in widecreen, but that always seems to come at a price with Videoasia DVDs. The picture quality is bad, but most of the fights can be seen clearly.

I have been informed that this is a cut version from Videoasia, so seek out an uncut version if you can.
