Description

It's a slow night at Speedies in Brisbane. The time for reflection leads to a collision of six young lives in City Loop, a bittersweet comedy about one night in the lives of six youngsters working at a pizza joint. They confront questions of love, identity and sex between deliveries, doughthrows and phone order taking. There's Dom - who's freaked out, shot at and almost run over on a seemingly innocent walk through the city. There's Misha, a virgin on a mission to change all of that. Robert and Erin's special friendship is suddenly threatened when Robert begins to reveal latent homosexual tendencies. Their lives ultimately collide, changing each of them irrevocably. City Loop is like a jigsaw puzzle. As each piece of the story falls into place, we begin to see more and more of the big picture and the real lives of the youngsters hiding behind the pizza uniform. The secrets unearthed are as surprising as the conclusion in the hyper modern look at youth at the threshold of adulthood.
