Great entertainment.......2007-09-12
My daughter is two years old so she really doesn't pay attention for a long time to the tv i have purchased many kids dvds but none of them have intrested her so when i brought mickey mouse i would figure it would be the same way but it turned out she stayed still for the whole dvd and wanted to watch it again!!! i enjoy watching it with her and sing along the songs. good choice.
We Love This One!.......2007-09-08
Our daughter, who is almost 2, is absolutely a Mickey fanatic. We have to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (thanks to a TiVO Season Pass) 3 to 4 times a day. Needless to say, we were looking for some NEW episodes! This one is so cute, and it lasts longer than the usual episode. It kept her attention virtually the entire time. And I actually enjoyed it too!
The DVD also has a bonus episode, "Donald's Hiccups", which was recently shown for the first time on the Disney Channel. Since we've already seen that one several times too, it wasn't really a bonus for us, but it is one of the better episodes.
I felt like this was worth the money, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse .......2007-08-31
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a big hit in our house. Sometimes we miss it on Disney and then we watch our CD. If your child likes the TV show they will love this CD.
Great DVD.......2007-08-23
My son is absolutely obsessed with Mickey Mouse. This DVD is cute and centers around the Easter holiday, as far as decorated eggs, things like that. I would agree with some of the other reviews that they could have included more episodes on the DVD than just two for the price. That is my only reason for not giving it a full 5 stars. There is an episode about Donald getting the hicups which quickly spreads to everyone else and they have to use home remedies to get rid of the hicups so they can sing on Clarabell's TV show. My son is 2 and sits through the entire 2 episodes. All in all its a great DVD for your little one that can't get enough of Mickey Mouse.
If your child loves MMCH, they will love this.......2007-07-16
Longer stories than the 30 minute show on Disney. A good dose of Mickey and Friends!

Charlie Brown gets rocks in his trick-or-treat bag, Linus awaits a visitation from the Great Pumpkin in his terribly sincere pumpkin patch (while the adoring little Sally sits tight with him), Snoopy falls asleep, Lucy harasses Schroeder, and Pig-Pen kicks up a dust storm even beneath his costume in this classic television broadcast. Funny stuff, but also graced with Charles Schultz's more poignant and gently satiric themes from the 1960s on the influence of faith, failure, and hope in our lives. --Tom Keogh

Cute--Good for Parties, Apparently.......2007-06-14
My family and I are huge Snoopy fans. Peanuts dominated my childhood. Every Halloween was marked with the traditional viewing of The Great Pumpkin. This isn't just for kids' enjoyment, however. My junior year of high school, I was invited to my friend's Halloween party, consisting of an eclectic group of high school and college students, who all willingly sat down some time in the evening to It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. It's the kind of movie you actually want to buy, because you know you'll end up watching it every year.
Great Family Fun!.......2007-06-09
This was a great DVD, and a great tradition to start with any family! We watch this every Halloween, and love it to pieces.
It's the Great Pumpkin - Great Classic DVD.......2007-01-24
This is probably the best Charlie Brown special made. It's a great dvd with really nice cover art. I received it quickly in perfect condition. Thanks.
It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.......2007-01-11
Children and adults can enjoy this DVD together. It's a wonderful Halloween story with just the right level of fun, comedy, and spookiness for chidren. Adults can also enjoy the gorgeous art work. The pictures of the night skies alone are reason enough to watch it. The colors are beautiful and as a preschool teacher, I can say very similar to children's art work. My children and I still watch this every year - it just isn't Halloween without it.
Classic!.......2007-01-06
You've got to love this one. Its a classic and my son whom is 3 loves it as well.

There's a whole world waiting to be discovered right outside in the backyard--it just takes imagination and a little help from the Backyardigans. Nick JR's Backyardigans is a computer animated series about five preschool-age animals who spend their days playing together in a shared backyard. By using their imaginations, Pablo, Tyrone, Uniqua, Tasha and Austin experience life as ghosts, solve a monster mystery, embark on a quest to save Egypt from a drought, and search for buried treasure. Besides having lots of fun, the group learns about overcoming fears, the investigate process, and the importance of things like cooperation, sharing and saying please and thank you. Each of the four 25-minute episodes features a healthy selection of musical numbers in a specific musical style: 1920's jazz, 1960's rock-n-roll, Broadway musical, and reggae. Special DVD features include an introduction to each character and his or her personality, suggestions of "how to be a Backyardigan," and the music video "A Pirate Says Arrr." (Ages 18 months to 6 years) --Tami Horiuchi

Backyardigans loverThis.......2007-09-15
This is quickly becoming my daughters favorite Backyardigans DVD. She still loves Mission to Mars, but she really likes the Soccer Monster and Pirate Treasure. We will probably buy a few more DVDs for birthday and Christmas.
My son's favorite show... and mine too!.......2007-08-10
The Backyardigan's is quite possibly the best television show ever made for kids! My two year old son loves all the characters and the adventures that they have together. Even after he's watched a show he talks about the characters like they're his best friends, it's so cute! It's Great to be a Ghost is his favorite of all the dvd's because the second episode (Monster Detective) is about a soccer monster who steals soccer balls and loves playing soccer which is my son's (and husband's) favorite sport! They pretend to be soccer monsters and play soccer like Pablo, Uniqua, and Tyrone- I've watched these dvd's countless times and the Yardigans (as my son calls them) never get old, annoying, or repetitive! (unlike so many of the kid's shows today) They're fun, imaginitive, creative, and teach good life lessons with awesome characters and animation!
This one has The Pirate Treasure on it!.......2007-06-27
After searching for months for ONE particular episode of Backyardigans, I found that this dvd has The Pirate Treasure on it. This has been our daughters VERY FAVORITE EPISODE of her VERY FAVORITE SHOW... and we would TIVO it but could not figure out how to tape it...
Finally, we found it. It has a few other hard to find shows too (*4 in all). One is Its Great to be a Ghost with jazzy ragtime type music... and The Soccer Monster with beachy type music. Also the Secret of the Nile and then The Pirate Treasure. Such a great dvd for kids. Our daughter sings and dances to it all the time!!!!
Fantastic show.......2007-06-25
I LOVE the Backyardigans. They're not annoying and the songs are catchy. We watch this video several times a day and I'm not sick of it yet.
We love the Backyardigans!.......2007-04-12
My son has been watching the Backyardigans from age 1 and he loves them. He is now 2 1/2 and still watches them regularly. They are bright and happy characters and the stories are simple for the kids to understand. I've seen each episode many, many times and I still enjoy them too!! We love the Backyardigans, especially Pirate Treasure, Polka Palace Party, and Surf's Up!! I recommend them all!!

Just because Walt Disney created contemporary and traditional classics of animation doesn't mean the studio is out of ideas--not by a long shot. The Great Mouse Detective is richly animated and offers a clever tale. It may not be as easily recognized a title as Aladdin or The Little Mermaid, but all three share the same director, Ron Clements. Originally released theatrically in 1986, the mystery borrows easily from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes and is based on Eve Titus's book Basil of Baker Street.
When a brilliant toymaker is kidnapped by a creepy peg-legged bat, his daughter, Olivia, enlists the aid of the legendary Basil. Basil, Olivia, and Basil's assistant, Dr. Dawson, are part of an intricate city system of Victorian-era London mice. Basil quickly realizes his archenemy, Professor Ratigan (a rat who wants to be a mouse), is behind the abduction. Ratigan (voiced by Vincent Price) fiendishly aspires to take over London rodents--and will stop at nothing to achieve his greatest desire. The unlikely trio of good guys become heroes, of course. The engaging story line is a perfect introduction to Doyle's work and mysteries in general. Look for a very cleverly executed voice-cameo by Basil Rathbone (as Sherlock Holmes, natch). Alan Young (Mr. Ed) also provides a voice. Ages 4 and up. --N.F. Mendoza

Customer Reviews:
4 Year Old Daughter Loves It!!!.......2007-07-22
We stumbled upon this VHS at a garage sale. It caught my eye, being Disney and all. At first, I thought my four year old daughter would be bored at the premise. She loves the movie. We watch it at least twice a week still. It settles her down before bedtime. She's especially fond of the little girl mouse, Olivia. Me, I could take it or leave it. I think the story goes right over her head. It's just not as flashy as the other Disney movies. (That's not a bad thing).
Boring and predictable.......2007-07-19
I don't see the greatness of this movie at all, I thought the whole movie was boring. I also felt the movie was a bit cliche, you just have to look at the characters and know exactly how they will act and what they will say. The story was predictable and there's no surprises. There are no memorable moments, there are no memorable songs and the movie relies to heavily on small things like Basil is always irritated with the world, who gets annoyed by the whole world? Basil.
His chubby friend (don't remember his name) gets into trouble, who is the smart one who solves the mystery? Basil.
I mean, you know before the scene ended who would solve the mystery, who would save the day, it was just so predictable.
It's a shame really, because the animation and voice acting is superb!
Another wonderful Disney Movie.......2007-04-12
Disney doesn't disappoint!! This is a nother wonderful Disney adventure that you will enjoy!!
Great Mouse Detective.......2007-03-16

This is one of Disney's best stories. The amusing mystery, spooky characters and charming leads will delight young and old alike.

Creature Comforts is a brilliant and hilarious clay animation series about the lives of animals as told by the animals themselves. Interviews with these lovable claymation creatures leave no stone unturned, no tree unclimbed, no sea uncrossed in the quest to discover what our fine-finned, furred and feathered friends really think about the issues that are closest to their hearts. It's a "mockumentary" like none you've ever seen, and it could only come from Nick Park and the untamed minds at Aardman Animation.
Customer Reviews:
Lots of fun!.......2007-09-05
Very funny without explosions or violence. Wonderful claymation. Watch for things going on aside from the center. Sometimes the Brit's accent is hard to understand. Well worth the money though.
Great evening entertainment.......2007-08-23
Great entertainment when you don't want to watch hours of tv. Each episode is about 9 minutes long and they are great.
Creature Comforts.......2007-08-23
I am in love with British humour and found Creature Comforts delightful. Kids will enjoy the animation but to me this series is really designed for adults. From worms to elephants, you get to connect with these believable characters who in true British humour style are willing to express their opinions and experiences on just about anything. Subtle, witty and skillfully produced.
My kids love it (I think it is a little gross)........2007-08-19
If you like Wallace and Gromit type snimation and do not mind references to horse seagull or hippo dung every so often, this is for you.
funny.......2007-08-13
These claymation shorts are very funny and entertaining I love watching a couple each night before bed.
Description
The Hundred Acre friends take your child on adventures where the friendliest part is realizing how much fun it is to share "growing up moments" with your very best pals. The fun starts with four delightful tales that illustrate how consideration, responsible behavior, and a little imagination can lead to wonderful experiences. Join Pooh and his pals as they find excitement around the Hundred Acre Wood. And when Tigger's birthday wishes get out of hand, your child will see how good behavior can get better results than all the wishes in the world. As each story unfolds, your child will be surrounded by favorite friends who show how to turn troubles around with a little respect, good behavior, and fun imaginative play. It's just one more way Pooh makes growing up fun.

Another Winnie the Pooh Classic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2007-02-23
Disney did a great job with this DVD! Me and my friends watch it almost every day. There are fun games and lots of great Pooh cartoons on this DVD! Winnie the Pooh makes learning FUN!!!
Review of this DVD.......2007-01-04
I bought this for my grandchildren for Xmas and have not seen it, but I have no doubt about Winnie movies, and my grandchildren were VERY happy to get it. That's all I can say for now and would go ahead and give a positive review. I won't get any REAL opinions from them until later after they've watched it, but I'm not worried, and I got this and other DVD's I ordered EXTREMELY promptly! My grandchildren (and their parents and ME love Winnie), and I am ABSOLUTELY HAPPY with Amazon!
Wonderful........2006-06-08
This is such a great video of winnie the pooh it keeps my child watching this over and over again. There always are great things my child learns when she watches winnie the pooh. She loves every minute of this.

Young dinosaur friends Little Foot, Cera, Spike, Ducky, and Petrie are content with their lives in the Great Valley, but things keep changing and sometimes the friends just feel like they don't quite fit in. As Petrie struggles to perfect his flying for the very important Day of the Flyers, he realizes how different he is from his brothers and sisters and, while he and his friends value his uniqueness, it's causing big problems in the family's flight formations. Meanwhile, Cera is struggling with the arrival of a new baby sister and the resulting lack of attention from her father and Tria. When an odd creature named Guido shows up in the valley, Petrie befriends him and learns an important lesson about how to maintain his individuality while still contributing to his family's collaborative flight. A courageous act by Guido saves Cera's sister from peril, helping Cera realize how much she really cares about her new sister, and sparking a personal revelation that gives Guido a much better sense of his own place in the world. This is an entertaining animated show with a wholesome message about the importance of friendship, adaptability, and uniqueness. (Ages 3 to 7) --Tami Horiuchi
Customer Reviews:
Great kid's movie........2007-05-21
The movie is really cute and fun for the kids. They love the music and all the friendly characters.
A worthy addition to The Land Before Time serious.......2007-05-09
The newest installment has the lovable dinos meeting a new and unique creature named Guido. Guido has no memories of who or what he is other than his name. It is up to Littlefoot and the gang to help Guido find his place in the world. Petrie has the most to gain from associating with Guido because like Guido he is having a hard time fitting in with the other flyers. Petrie is having trouble getting ready for the day of the flyers (his rite of passage to become an adult) because he must learn to fly in formation with his siblings. However, he is only good at flying when alone. The whole premis of the movie is that Guido and Petrie learn that it is OK to be different and to accept who you are.
Great Stories with a good moral ending.......2007-05-07
All the "land Before Time movies are great for kids and I dont mind watching them with my granddaughter.I wonder how many of them there are?
not as good as 1-6 but decent.......2007-04-17
Just to inform you these movies have a different cast than the original movie which came out in 1988 most of the characters have been recast since the first movie. I also thought I'd inform you that even though this is marked as the 12 movie I actually think this is the thirtenth movie because if I remember correctly I belive Great Water and Tinosaurus came out before this not longneck migration if I remember the order correctly from which I saw them in. These movie up till either either saurus rock or the big freeze can't remember which of the two came first used to be on cartoon newtwork alot but have not been one for several years. I belive the last time I saw number four was some time inbetween 1999 and 2003 maybe earlier maybe later. This movie takes place shortly after the events in Tinysarus if they movie were all released in chronological order. Little foot and friends are back in this movie. Peter is struggling to fit in with his brother and sister and Sara new mother Trica has had a baby pink female triciratops. This movie has some good musical number like all the previous films except the original which was meant to be more of an action moviethan a kids movie even though the musical mumbers have been some what reduced from the previous movies. Even thought time of the great flyers has great musical numbers it some what lack some of the action sequences an intensity of the previous films. A word of warning this movie has some occasional mild scary cartoon like action sequences mid way through the movie starting around scene 8 when a new character Guido start sleep walking until he eventually wakesup and one mildy disgusting scene when Guido force his way out of a carnorsaurus mouth after it tries to swallow him and is drench in carnosarus silva for a couple of minutes which can be seeing dripping off his body. Due to these reason stated this movie might not be appropriate or may be questionable to children under the age of 12 years of age depending on what content in the movie there parents or guardian think is apprpriate if the consider any of it appropriate. A word of advice if you like these movies but don't want to order them individual one at a time in DVD format you can order Land Before time movies 1-4 on dvd format together at the same time and it will only cost you some were from about $21 to 30$ with the shipping fee include to purchase them if you do not get them in mint condition or better. A word of advice even though these movies are ment to be made for kids ages 3 to 7 years of age you might want to wait until your about 15 years of age or older before you see the first five movies because if your a kid thats faint of heart meanning you get scared easily or have a lot of difficult telling fake from real like I did growing up the first five films especially the original movie and the fourth movie land of the misits maybe to intense for you to watch by your self.
Good.......2007-03-23
Took a little longer to recieve than expected, but still was in a timely fashion

Fell short of expectations.......2007-07-13
I have been a huge fan of Wallace and Grommit for years now. I had hoped that this series would have the same quirkiness and clever charm as W&G. Sadly, this is not the case. Although the series is kind of funny, it never really evokes more than a chuckle. The "episodes" seem a little too repetitive and just don't have the same kind of impact as other releases from the Aardman studios.
SheeBee.......2007-03-21
I loved this DVD!! Very British comedy - no laugh out loud moments...just lots of chuckles. I enjoyed it very much.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for someone. It came in the mail very quickly, I had no problems with it, and the person I gave it to loved it.
A gigantic rave for this clever, sweet, funny claymation series.......2007-01-28
The first season of this clever series shines on this DVD. You get the first 13 episodes of the series, with hilarious claymation animals talking in the voices of The Great British Public about any number of interesting topics. It sounds like the makers interviewed ordinary British citizens and then took the best bits and animated a character for each voice.
The premise is awesome, but what truly brings this to brilliant new heights is the skill and loving care with which the series was created. I guffawed my way through the first one, watching in disbelief at how clever and funny it was, and finally dragged my unwilling boyfriend in to watch it with me. After about ten minutes he was chortling along with me and we enjoyed the rest with great enthusiasm.
This is meant more for teens and adults than children, because the humor is often subtle or dry and the accents can be hard to understand for Americans. But there isn't anything unsafe for younger kids in here as far as I could tell, I just don't think they'd really "get" it.
If you like Wallace and Gromit and want to try something new, give this winner a try - it is well worth the money and is one that I intend to watch over and over again.
Subtle British Humour.......2007-01-18
My family greatly enjoyed this film. It is not an example of the boisterous humour of Wallace and Gromit, but it certainly has all the elements of beautifully executed plasticene animation that you would expect from Nick Park and his colleagues. What we found the most fun in Creature Comforts is that it subtly examines human behaviour, and pokes fun at people's opinions and idiosyncrasies.I would buy the other DVD's in the series.

Responsibility, perseverance, and ingenuity are virtues that serve a young gingerbread boy well along a journey of self-discovery. Based on the Candy Land board game, this 55-minute animated adventure begins with a young gingerbread boy named Jib setting off toward the Candy Castle with an offering of special gingerbread icing to present to the King for the "Sweet Celebration" ceremony. At the Castle, King Kandy appoints his rather irresponsible daughter Princess Lolly to appear at the ceremony, stressing that she must bring her royal scepter to ensure the continued blossoming of everything sweet in Candy Land. Jib hurries along the colorful path to the Kingdom, meeting new friends Mr. Mint and Jolly along the way, while the sneaky Licorice Bites steal Princess Lolly's scepter to further Lord Licorice's evil plan to turn Candy Land into Licorice Land. A chance meeting between Jib and Princess Lolly leads the two to join forces against Lord Licorice, but can they possibly recover the scepter and make it to the Candy Castle in time for the celebration? Five original songs add musical fun to a fanciful adventure that offers a cute story to accompany a whole new generation's journey to Candy Land. (Ages 3 to 7) --Tami Horiuchi

Better than Expected..........2007-08-26
I bought this for my child because she loves the board game, but had very low expectations for it's quality and story. I was pleasently surprised, however, that it's fairly well done with a good story and excellent music. It has quickly become a favorite. Hope they produce more.
Great Video for Preschoolers.......2007-08-25
My son's preschool regularly requests this video because it entertains the 2years olds through the 6 year olds.
Sweet Treat for Little Viewers.......2007-08-11
This dvd was purchased at the request of a 5-year-old who had seen it advertised on TV and was already familiar with the beginner's board game. She has enjoyed watching The Great Lollipop Adventure numerous times and rates it among her current favorites. It even kept the attention of the 2 1/2-year-old little sister for nearly the entire length of the dvd. The characters, story line and visuals are charming and colorful, and wholesome, of course. A big thumbs up from kids and grownups alike!
Great Movie.......2007-07-24
My 5 yr. old son loves this movie. I think it teaches about responsibility throughout the movie. I would recommend this movie to anyone. My daughter is 12 and she even enjoys it (though she wouldn't admit it).
Absolutely Awesome!.......2007-04-13
My Kid loves this video, she watches it 5 times a day over and over again...
I am afraid she is going to wear out the DVD!
It definately gets the Nummers Seal of Approval!

Like everything else from the geniuses at Aardman Animations, the second season of Creature Comforts is absolutely brilliant. As conceived by Oscar®-winning Creature Comforts animator Nick Park (of Wallace and Gromit fame), the premise of this limited series is deceptively simple, but when you add the Aardman magic, it evolves into something utterly sublime: an endlessly clever and intimately revealing portrait of contemporary British society, originating as live recordings of "the great British public" then transformed through Aardman animation into a menagerie of talking animals, each bursting with humor, insight, and a rich variety of slapstick gags and memorable expressions. It's a rare kind of creative alchemy that takes place before our eyes: From original voice recordings to the finished product, each nine-minute episode is a masterpiece of anthropomorphic ingenuity, introducing us to a colorful cast of critters that reflect their real-life human counterparts as well as the cleverness of the animators themselves. Think of it as an inter-species exchange program, where chatty old ladies in a retirement home are transformed into chatty old bats dangling from a rafter, or a pair of buddies in their early 30s turn into witty slugs with a knack for whistling and making faces.
The perfectionism that has become Aardman's trademark is evident throughout these 12 hilarious episodes, each devoted to a single topic (Impressions, Sport, Monarchy Business, Communication, Self-Image, etc.) and animated in plasticene to emphasize wildly inventive visual translations of everyday conversation. The "casting" is flawless, comedic timing is impeccable, and abundant bits of throwaway business ensure that you'll see something new with every viewing. Meticulously crafted sets, props, and backdrops complete the illusion, and the final result is artistry of the highest order, combined with a heartwarming humanism that's both universally appealing and quintessentially British. For everyone involved, Creature Comforts guarantees a delightful kind of immortality, and the rest of us get to share in the fun.
This two-disc set also includes the acclaimed Aardman holiday short Merry Christmas Everybody!, and disc 2 includes a wealth of behind-the-scenes features delving into all aspects of Aardman's arduous animation process. There's a "making of Season 2" featurette covering the overall production process; "The People Behind the Puppets" shows how the British interviewees are matched with their animated animal counterparts; and "Animated Conversations" follows several animators as they struggle with the painstaking process of matching their creatures' mouth-movements with pre-recorded dialogue. Also included is "The Countryside Code," an Aardman-animated public service ecology commercial promoting preservation of the British countryside. --Jeff Shannon

Funnier and wittier than ever before, Creature Comforts returns for a second series of the highly acclaimed animation from Nick Park and Aardman. CREATURE COMFORTS is a brilliant and hilarious claymation series about the lives of animals as told by the animals themselves. Unscripted and unashamedly funny, the British public once again speaks through the mouths of their plasticine counterparts. Interviews with these lovable claymation creatures leave no stone unturned, no tree unclimbed, no sea uncrossed in the quest to discover what our fine-finned, furred and feathered friends really think about the issues that are closest to their hearts. Join the return of some favorite characters including Trixie and Captain Cuddlepuss, the Dog and Cat, Fluffy the Hampster and Clement the Bloodhound.

I LOVE IT! IT'S PURE GENIOUS!.......2007-05-26
I bought the first season about a year ago and I was instantly hooked! So I bought the second season around Christmas time, only to find that it was even better! This is a show the whole family will love... if you appreciate Brittish humor. This is a must buy! The price is wonderful! The Best episode is "Self Image."
Just as clever as the first season........2007-05-04
This is one of the funniest and most creative shows I've ever seen. You will never look at animals quite the same way again...
If you liked the first season then you will like this one as well.......2007-01-28
I love this series! The animals are hilarious, and The Great British Public who provide the wry, grumpy, hilarious, and thoughtful voices for the animals are a real hit as always. The DVD contains all the episodes in the second season on one disc, plus the special Merry Christmas Everybody on a second disc.
This season was not quite as funny and charming as season one, but it still gets five stars because it is head and shoulders above most other DVD's. My boyfriend and I laughed all the way through, and both of us agreed that we would like to keep this in our permanent collection for rewatching (and rewatching soon!).
I would think this series is much more suitable for adults than children, just because you need to concentrate to understand the accents, and the humor is often more subtle or dry than children like. But I didn't hear anything that would really be unsafe for children's ears, I just don't think they'd like it as much as adults would.
Laugh Out Loud.......2007-01-13
Another triumph from Nick Park & co. in collaboration with "the great British public." The interviews are terrific in themselves, but transformed by the wit and wizardry of the WALLACE & GROMIT team, they're priceless.
something of a letdown after the fantastic first season.......2007-01-05
It is hard to say exactly why I am giving this only three stars (plus one for merry christmas everybody which is almost worth the price by itself). I would absolutely give the first season five stars. But this season seems to be less friendly, and the character designs are less playful like they put in one degree of realism too much. Those pigs are just not attractive and the miserable cage gerbil looks bloated or something. Many of the characters are just not likeable, like the show pony. Its seems as well that they used the individual characters less often, so you see some of the characters just once or twice in the whole series. You don't get such a good representation of the character's personality, you don't get to know them, and the ons you do get to know aren't that interesting, though I do like the two dogs standing outside the bar even if I can't understand them sometimes. So I give it four stars for including some pretty good behind the scenes extras and the fantastic merry christmas episode.
