A Great Collection!.......2007-09-11

This continues from the Volume One collection, though it's very hard to tell whether this continues into Season 2 or not. The picture is very crisp and clear and audio is superb. Both collections (Vol 1 and 2) contains 53 epsiodes, plus you have to buy the "Ultimate Christmas Collection" that only contains one episode of the Beverly Hillbillies, when in the first season they flew back home on what they thought was a bus. But all three discs are well worth the price and is the only authorized and truly restored BH that you will find, and contains the finest episodes in the series. In the later seasons, the writing had gone downhill and featured goofy episodes where Phil Silvers tried to sell them parts of New York City and Washington.

I love watching the BH's and wish all episodes would be on the market.
These "new" collections are not new, but a few episodes, that have been out there for quite a while. What a disappointment.
A pity. I would have loved to have watched new episodes.

Great dvd.......2007-03-16

I had no trouble with the audio or video that some pepole spoke of. I watched them on a 50' plasma and they were of suberb quality. Still funny after 45 years

Well Doggy!!!!!!!!!!.......2004-03-21

I think it is great to see that the Beverly Hillbillies is on DVD for such an affordable price! This DVD Contains 8 episodes! They are: 1) Jed's Dilema, 2) The Great Feud, 3) Jed Saves the Drysdale's Marriage, 4) The Clampetts Get Culture, 5) The Clampetts are Overdrawn, 6)The Garden Party, 7) Jed Cuts the Family Tree, 8) Jethro's first love. All episodes are in black and white. The DVD is one of the Best Bargains I have ever seen, & therefore should be bought by anyone who likes the Hillbillies!

Could have been a lot better.......2004-02-13

There are 4 dvd's in this set I unfortunately own 2 of them Volume 1 and Volume 2. The price is nice considering you do get 8 episodes per disc. Thats about the only good thing I can say. The quality is horrible. The bonus feature has got to be somebodies idea of a joke. And none of the episodes contain the original theme song. Anybody with a TV capture card and a dvd burner could have made a better collection than this.

When this item arrived I was disappointed to find it was B&W. Nowhere in your advertisement did it say B&W. It also did not say IN Color, so its my mistake I guess. Well at least the Salvation Army will take it for needy kids at Christmas time.

I also ordered Vol. 1 and expect it will also be B&W. Well, thanks anyhow.

Only strange thing is that is doesn't have the normal Beverly Hillbillies intro banjo music, has different bamjo music. Maybe some licensing thing on the intro music? I dunno but epsiodes are fine. 20 episodes total SAys it is fully restored and enhanced digital masters. Special features are interactive menus, original graphics,direct acccess to favorite scenes,biography,facts and trivia and special collector's photo gallery
