A lot of taboos are broken in Loving Annabelle, even if the film itself remains remarkably tasteful--even demure. The central characters are two women, a teacher and her student, and the setting is an all-girls school (shades of Lost and Delirious). Annabelle (the smoldering Erin Kelly), a senior, is a rebellious rocker chick--the Beverly Hills version that is, i.e. highlighted hair, black eyeliner, and nose ring. Her senatorial mother ships her off to boarding school to shape up. Annabelle's hard-partying ways are starting to become an embarrassment. Miss Simone Bradley (the sympathetic Diane Gaidry) is a popular poetry teacher. She's a Catholic. Annabelle is not. Simone has a boyfriend, Annabelle is gay. Looks can be deceiving, however, and there's more to both than meets the eye. For one, Simone's relationship is not as secure as it appears. For another, Annabelle's ardor is so relentless it threatens to sway sympathy against her. She seems to have no regard for the damage an affair would inflict on her teacher's career. Nonetheless, Simone is not entirely resistant to her charms. Inspired by 1931's Mädchen in Uniform, writer/director Katherine Brooks preserves the forbidden relationship at the heart of the Weimar-era classic, but drops the political subtext. Personal morals aside, a beautiful love story........2007-08-29

Though I won't comment on the fact that this is really the story of a teacher/student affair, I will say that this is truly a love story, when honed down to the two main characters. Gaidry's performance is perfectly nuanced and you're with her all the way.

The ending leaves much to be desired, though. The 'alternate ending' on the extras really adds onto the actual ending rather than changing it and provides the viewer with the closure needed to move on and not become and emotional wreck over the affair. I'm puzzled as to why it was left off but highly recommend the movie either way.

An Intelligent Film.......2007-08-15

This film is built on Rilke's poetry. Simone first becomes aware of Annabelle when Annabelle uses Rilke to get inside Simone's head to seduce her--sex and love can be one, especially if the sex is really good sex. . . I was half expecting jabs at the patriarchal symbolism of the Catholic Church; however the "bad Catholic" in the film is a controlling woman, not a man. The true patriarch in the film is a priest who has given up control, instead imparting wisdom and compassion when he can. There are several conflicts here, the strongest is conveyed when the head mistress asks Simone hadn't she ever thought what she was doing was wrong, and Simone's reply was yes, she had thought about it at every instant. The most interesting character to me was Cat, aptly named because she pounces on anything, mauling it, without really meaning to--it's just her nature. Annabelle is a skilled seductress but she misjudges the lethality of Cat. Cat is the irritant, the grain of sand that makes pearls, and poetry.

Best indy film I've seen in a long time. The actors performances were very strong. Director Katherine Brooks succeeds in making the teacher-student relationship about more than sex. Both women fall deeply in love with each other and it comes across very sincere on screen.

Forbidden Love.......2007-07-29

Ok its about a teacher who falls for a student. Lets get that out of the way first. Yes, its bit squicky and wrong, but that's what forbidden love is isn't it?

This has one of the hotest moments I've seen in awhile, and its not the love scene. I'm talking about when the teacher is still resisting her feelings for Annabeele and has what turns out to be a very vivid dream about her and she has it in a church. I remember going "wow" when I saw it.

Forbidden love is always a difficult subject. Right or wrong, they loved each other. I liked the way the movie ended. I won't give it away but it left things open without being to angsty and "Chlidrens Houry" but it did show that there are repercussions to dangerous actions.

All in all one of my favorite lesbian films.

Great Movie with a Poor Ending........2007-07-22

Loving Ananabelle is well written, well directed, and both stars (Diane Gaidry and Erin Kelly) do excellent work here.

The story does a fine job of showing the venom faced by anyone who chooses to be different from the "norm", whatever that is. Although this movie touches on lesbianism, it is not simply a story about lesbians. And it is not porn, in my opinion. It's more a story about love, about prejudice, ostracism, harassment and about the courage and suffering required of those brave enough to openly leave the safety of the herd.

I would have rated this movie a strong five, had it not been for the ending. The writer/director is certainly a talented artist to have created such a fine and insightful story and to write and direct it so well. But she certainly could have done better on the ending; it was quite disappointing. The alternate ending available was better, but it was still less that adequate.

Overall, I recommend the movie, Loving Annabelle. Be ready for considerable disappointment during the final ten of fifteen minutes, however.

This, is in my opinion is Elvis's best movie.From the staged performances to the acting and story line, it is still watchable entertainment today.Also this dvd edition has been beautifully restored and the magnificent Technicolor shines.Definetely a must for any Elvis fan.

Terrific movie, PERFECT DVD transfer!.......2004-04-07

First I would like to applaud Lion's Gate Home Entertainment for the perfect job they did with transferring this film to DVD. Having never seen this movie (gasp) before I bought it on DVD, the first thing I noticed was that they not only kept the original "VistaVision" opening sequence, but that the transfer was so flawless as to make it appear that I was watching it from a projector onto the silver screen. Splendid, wonderful, perfect transfer that I could not forget to mention. Sound is awesome as well, 5 stars to YOU, Lion's Gate.
Onto the film. It is true what people say here about the film being almost biographical about Elvis' early years. It is also very dramatic and is a wonderful mix of fun and drama. Here Elvis is still the young, wild stallion, the rebel King. He is lean and mean, and I think he knows it. Set in a smallish town, he is called up on stage to do a number spontaneously and the rest is history. A talent scout in the audience eventually coaxes him to leave behind the world of automobiles to become a musical legend. Trust is a main theme in this movie with Deke Rivers (Elvis) confused about his loyalties, or even if he should trust his own manager. Wow - very biographical come to think of it!
Did I mention how visually stunning the movie is? How beautiful and perfect the color is? Yes I did, but I can't stress it enough. This movie is ear and eye candy, with a great story to match.

Forget Jailhouse Rock.......2003-08-28

This movie is a lot more fun than Jailhouse Rock and Viva Las Vegas. I could almost say it's better than Wild in the Country. They're definitely in competition.
This was before Wild in the Country and he's a better actor in this. Sad Wild came later. Elvis wasn't that good of an actor but he was an entertainer and he succeeds on that level in this movie.
Unlike Wild, this movie moves at a good pace. It is loaded with songs, lipsynced but it's still fun to watch them. Elvis plays a troubled country boy whose talent is discovered by Lizabeth Scott. Even in 1957, Lizabeth was still beautiful. She plays a half villian type role. The noir movies in the 40's were more suited for her but she pulls this off okay. Dolores Hart, who later was cast in "Where the Boys Are", gives a nice performance also as a pretty innocent country girl.
Wild in the Country is unintentionally funny all the way. But if you want a movie more closer to the definition of good I would go for this one. The last ten minutes are quite silly though.

Small town girl, big star boy!.......2003-07-31

"Loving You" is based on a story written by Mary Agnes Thompson from the magazine Good Housekeeping. At the time she wrote the story, the young Oklahoma girl had no idea it would be transformed into the wonderful big screen sensation starring one of the biggest stars in the world. Even though the story seems biographical regarding Elvis, Mary Agnes Thompson knew nothing about him aside from hearing a couple of his songs on the radio. This movie is a must see for all, not only Elvis fans. If you're lucky enough to find a copy of the story, it is worth the read.

In 1995, it was promising to hear that Mel Brooks was creating "the companion piece to Young Frankenstein." He had also brought in the heavyweight of deadpan--Leslie Nielsen. As Lt. Frank Drebin in the Police Squad movies, Nielsen has no peer for silly stuff--just the player Brooks would seem to need for a strong movie, as any fan of Brooks perpetually hopes a new film may rekindle his madcap magic. Alas, the end results in Dracula: Dead and Loving It include a sprinkling of amusements and one big belly laugh. Brooks and his writers use a very tight adaptation of Bram Stoker's novel, but the spoofs can be spelled out as we go, as if they are paint-by-number. Some are jabs at Coppola's version of Dracula, but most are attached to classic Dracula films. If any real pleasure comes from the movie it's thanks to the efforts of the cast. Peter MacNicol plays the crazed Renfield to the letter, Steven Weber has a good time as the tight British Harkin, and Lysette Anthony charms as the doomed Lucy. Brooks and Nielsen ham it up just fine. There's even a surprisingly controlled performance by Harvey Korman (a character spoofing Anthony Hopkins's role in the misfire The Road to Wellville). As with Brooks's period comedies, the film looks better than it needs to and includes a few tricky special effects for good measure. This has nothing to do with the audience laughing--we need bigger jokes. And when you double over laughing in one scene--involving a stake through the heart and a bucket of blood--you want the movie to achieve Brooks's days of glory, when hearty laughter was the norm, not an isolated moment. --Doug Thomas

Not Mel Brooks' Best ... and Most Probably His Worst.......2007-08-02

It was about ten years ago that I first watched Mel Brooks' "Dracula: Dead And Loving It" and I found it not as funny as I expected from the director of "Young Frankenstein." Since then Mel Brooks, it seems, stopped directing films, which is a sad thing if it is true, but anyway I decided to watch his "Dracula" again after a decade. The only part I thought funny ten years ago was the scene where Steven Weber's character drives a stake into poor, lovely un-dead Lucy's heart, but is this film really so unfunny?

Sorry if you're an avid Mel Brooks fan, but I had the same impression as before after the second viewing - actors all are doing a good job, but the gags are repetitious and too mild, neither big, clever nor outrageous enough to make me laugh. The storyline itself follows that of Bela Lugosi's 1931 version with numerous references to other new and old Dracula films. They are fine, but Count Dracula (Leslie Nielsen) appears twice with a Gary Oldman-like hairdo while once is enough. Anne Bancroft appears as "Madame Ouspenskaya" prophesying with a strange voice one too many time.

At times, I suspect that Mel Brooks is really trying to make a horror, not a comedy here, for at certain points the film looks as if it stopped being a spoof. I had the same kind of feeling when I saw Eddie Murphy's "Vampire in Brooklyn" which also fails to strike the right mood throughout. Technically speaking, "Dracula: Dead And Loving It" is surprisingly good - see the dancing party scene, for instance - but the whole events there are just bland. Count Dracula dances gracefully, and then he escapes breaking the window. Nothing great, funny or otherwise, happens here just like the rest of the film itself.

All the cast including Leslie Nielsen with his silly antics are amusing to see, but there is not much else in "Dracula: Dead And Loving It.

One of Mel's best........2007-05-20

I first discovered this film when I came across it at the video rental store. I hesitated to rent it for a number of reasons: I had heard nothing of it during it's theatrical release; Mel Brooks had been in a slump for some some time; and it starred Leslie Neilsen, who by that time was known primarily for milking his Frank Drebbin character to death in a number of very lame "comedies". But I rented it anyway and boy, was I glad I did!

The film is a laugh riot from beginning to end. Of course, it helps if you are familiar with the original Dracula story and its' various film incarnations and are attuned to Brooks' comedy style. If you are not up on the latter, just watch it a second or third time to get into the rhythm. Once you've gotten into the flow, you'll find it's a really fun ride.

While Neilsen, Brooks, Weber and Korman are all splendidly amusing, it's Peter McNichol who really steals the show as Renfield. Many people think of Artie Johnson's turn as Renfield in "Love at First Bite" to be the quintessential comedic portrayal of the character, but McNichol is much funnier. I would have given him a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for this one, but unfortunately, he, as well as the film itself, was overlooked by the critics and the Academy. Too bad, as this film deserved better. The critics pretty much savaged this film (and most of Mel Brooks' films after "Young Frankenstein"), but apparently the critics have just forgotten how to laugh and simply be entertained by a movie. You will laugh and be entertained by this movie.

This is quite a funny film in some moments, but also a little bit predictable. Its a good laugh if you are looking for a cheap one.

Wouldn't rate it as good as Spaceballs, though worth a watch every so often.

Two dvd in one.......2007-09-02

This excellent video is produced by the Alexander Institute and is
part of the Loving Sex Series. It is a very erotic "how to" video
about sexual massage. The video has a creative format of two videos
in one. One part is instruction in erotic massage techniques. The
second part is watching a "real couple" watching the instruction and
then practicing the educational techniques. This becomes a very
erotic format and also provides some excellent instruction. The DVD
is highly stylized and beautifully filmed. The only negative is an
introduction from Bernie Zilbergeld of the Alexander Institute that
comes off "academic" and therefore detracts from the erotic mood.

Different than other similar videos, this DVD does not attempt to
provide a full introduction to massage. The video rather focuses only
on erotic techniques and genital massage. The viewer is treated to
watching the "watching couples" in playful practice of the erotic
massage techniques. These sequences are both humorous and very
erotic. The practicing couple is rewarded with very real orgasms.

OK I GUESS.......2007-06-26

The title should be Ultimate Sex Organ Massage. I don't necessarily mean that in a bad way, it's just a matter of what you're looking for in a video. The entire 60 minutes of this video pretty much focuses on how to give a hand job (on a limp noodle most of the time) and how to finger your partner (some of which looked a little painful).

I probably should have purchased Lovers Massage from this series instead of Sexual Massage since the other review on here said Lovers Massage focused on whole body massage rather than strictly genital massage.

Its actually a well done video and A LOT classier and more sensual than porn. (Porn is disgusting in my book) There's nothing gross about the actors or what they are doing or how they are doing it, even in the extreme close ups. I do recommend it if you don't think 60 minutes of genital massage would seem drawn out to you. Otherwise, I would go with Lovers Massage like I probably should have.

Not just a back rub! .......2007-04-13

This DVD is very explicit in how to give genital massage as well as the rest of the body. It's informative and shot very well. This is definitely a massage you only want to share with your partner... my husband and I found some of the techniques to be highly stimulating and very arousing. There is some good information here if you want to show your lover you really know what you're doing. It was definitely a 5-star night for us!

Great sexual massage DVD for couples.......2007-02-01

I finally got the DVD player hooked up in my bedroom - something that I highly suggest couples doing - and finally got some alone time to watch my assigned DVDs. Today's assignment was Ultimate Massage, The Art of Sexual Touch. This is one of the Loving Sex instructional videos, and since I had read Jenne's review of Lover's Massage I was curious how this video was different from the one she watched.

The is a 60 minute video which opens with a scene where a wife meets her husband at the door, telling him she has a special Christmas present for him. They then rush from the door to the bedroom and pop in the tape. The opening was a bit abrupt, but I suppose they had to get to watching the video somehow. Once in the bedroom with the tape running, we are allowed to see the video they are watching with begins with an introduction by Dr. Bernie Zilbergeld, the author of the famous best seller MALE SEXUALITY. There was one statement he made that I thought captured the essence of this video. "Erotic massage is a way to wake up the sexual sensual self. Sensual massage is not foreplay. The goal is not intercourse. The goal is not even orgasm. If you happen to have intercourse before, during, or after your sensual massage, that's fine. But that's not really the goal. The goal is simply to experienced pleasure."

The main difference between the Ultimate Massage video and the Lover's Massage video is that I believe the Ultimate Massage video is more intimate. While the Lover's Massage focuses on whole body massage, the Ultimate Massage video centers primarily on genital massage. The video is broken down into five parts: erotic frontal massage, Male genital massage, female genital massage, practice erotic frontal massage, and practice genital massage.

The first scene is the woman massaging the man. While instructions are given in the background, the woman follows through with the actions. It's quite sexy to watch how she strokes and touches his body, including the different things she does to his penis. Now in all honesty, if I had read the instruction in a book without seeing the video, I might have thought some of the suggestions could cause discomfort - The Serpent, for example (you'll have to watch the video to find out what it is). But when the instructions are given and I saw her carry them out, it made a connection in my brain that said, "Okay, that's what they mean." Then the video changes and we see the man carry out much of the same things that were done to the woman, along with explicit direction on vaginal massage and instructions on finding her g-spot - which I felt would be very helpful to some viewers.

After he has finished, our couple watching the video turns it off and they proceed to try out all the things they learned. It's not exactly the same, but it helps to reinforce all the different moves, and it shows you a couple of different ways to change the routine without affecting the eventual outcome - which is to please your lover. I do admit that I love the fact that these people appear to be really enjoying themselves. When he's giving her the g-spot massage you see her body twitch and jump, you hear her moans, just like it happens in real life. And when she is giving him the penis massage you actually see him ejaculate - not the cheesy sort of porn money shot, but a tasteful depiction of a man enjoying himself to orgasm.

What's it all add up to?
I think this is a great video for couples wanting to learn how to better explore their lover's bodies and for those who have a goal to just bring pleasure to their partners. This is not the kind of video that centers on `getting your own.' This is about using your senses, especially touch to tease and arouse your partner. I would highly recommend it.

Our sex life is good, but after watching this DVD it definitely got better. This video does give you some sound advice in how to do an erotic strip dance. It also provides you with some basic moves. However at the end it does have the main model perform for someone. This kinda made it seem more like porn at the end. I think it would have been better if they would have just let the model show you the dance and not involve all the rest. I would not recommend this video if you want to learn how to strip but it is okay as an erotic video to watch with your boyfriend.

I was not happy with this purchase. This video only taught 10 min. of teaching followed by 30 min of a porn flick at the end. The teaching was informative balanced with different women with various shapes and builds, I could have used more teaching and less of a porn show. This was a waste of money! There are a few more reviews like mine so take our advise.

What guy would stray if he's getting sex in every room of the house?? This series has a lot of female appeal, but it's also perfect for couples' viewing because men will dig the sex scenes. My husband and I both enjoyed watching this. Hot but not sleazy, it's a great lead-in to a "night in" instead of a night out. It offers good information presented in a loving way and the couples are cute and sexy. I have checked out most of the Loving Sex DVDs and find them to be both informative and stimulating. I am definitely looking forward to future releases.

It's not that we don't find porn vids great to watch occasionally, but the Alexander Institute just seems to hit our particular buttons a little better. No disrespect to the silicone-enhanced professionals, but something about real couples in (at least perceptible) situations just causes our libidos to soar. And after setting the bar extremely high with the six hour Sexual Secrets, we popped this one into the DVD player expecting quite a bit.
And though it isn't six hours long and contains a scene or two from the aforementioned title (or is it the other way around?), this video again delivers the goods with attractive participants, realistic situations, and HOT sex scenes. Though Julie Ashton and Charlie are noted porn actresses, they share their scenes with their actual significant others (in Charlie's case - her husband) and really look like they're enjoying themselves every minute. It's all filmed lovingly and respectfully.
The first scene takes place in the kitchen with Julie and her lover engaging in foreplay using kitchen utensils and the countertop as their choice landing pad for intercourse. This leads into a living room discussion about sexual creativity with common household items with four couples, before Charlie and her husband share some quality time in the laundry room with a feather duster and a washing machine. A living room adventure, another short discussion, Julie and friend in a closet, and finally some office play and a hot Jacuzzi session finish this great title off.
Maybe we're just jaded or burned out on porn videos. Double penetration, scars under huge fake breasts, close ups that are a bit TOO close for our taste; these things are thankfully avoided in this title. Best of all, we rarely finished any scenes before practicing our own "sex around the house."

This was just like a porno, I could not believe the people on the DVD were married or a couple for that matter. The men in the video sounded dumb, but if you are a woman you will find the men as eye candy and if you were in a relationship you would want the men to just shut up and get to business without saying a word ..lol..and if you are a man the women are above average- but the people that make these DVDs are not going to put unattracted couples in these, after all they want you to watch it; it is not worth the full price...get it used if you buy it.

`Sex Around the House' is one in the `Loving Sex' series, instructional videos designed to help couples through different aspects of sexuality. If you've never watched an instructional video this is going to be an interesting adventure.
Since I wasn't sure what to expect from this video, my partner and I debated on getting comfortable or making a pizza before watching the festivities. Since this technically was work, we decided on the pizza which I threw in the oven, grabbed my notebook, then hit the play button.
It opened with a sort of `man on the street' scene in which a woman was asking passersby what they would do with assorted household objects - a rolling pin, a spatula, a feather duster, and much to my partner's horror clothes pins. While the people were hesitant to offer uses for these items, they came up with some typical and humorous responses. From there it took us to the actual introduction where Julie Ashton, a bright and blonde woman is seated at a sofa interviewing Dr. Ava Cadell. Dr. Cadell is one of the nation's leading sexologists. She was dressed professionally, had dark hair, and if I thought Julie was bubbly, Dr. Cadell bubbled over with enthusiasm for the subject matter.
Sex Around the House - is about finding new sexual pleasures right at home. Julie goes on to invite Dr. Cadell into her home. She explains that she is having several couples over for the weekend and that she'd love the Doctor to give them a personal lesson. The doctor agrees, and we then are transported to Julie's home. What follows is the introduction of Julie's friends to Dr. Cadell who goes on to show the same items that were offered to the people on the street. She again asks for suggested use, but then offers a few ideas of her own -along with a warning that items used for sexual purposes should not be used for everyday purposes. The strangest had to have been the pasta spoon. The doctor suggests that you can use it by rubbing it lightly up and down your partner's body or stroking it through their hair. She encourages the group to look at everything in their home as a potential sex object. Think about how the object can heighten your senses.
After the doctor leaves, the video goes through a series of scenes showing each of the couples as the have sex utilizing Dr. Cadell's advice - sex in the laundry, the kitchen, the bathroom, the office, even a closet. The most novel idea I thought was by using the phone to call your partner in another area of the house and then engage in some foreplay phone sex.
Obviously, not everyone has a home as well put together at Julies. Rooms dedicated as an office/workout room or a sunken tub in their bathroom are not the norm, but I could see how the concept could be adapted to any household. For the entire day after I watched the video, I couldn't help but look twice at every item that I picked up.
Besides the main part of the video, the DVD offers additional sex tips from Dr. Patti Britton, sexuality information, links to important sites and a bonus scene from one of the other Loving Sex programs.
What does it all add up to?
Each of the couples seemed to be actually enjoying themselves. There was banter between each other, none of the `do me now!' type of porno. It was very loving and yet very hot to watch - that is not to say that in real life these items don't go hand in hand, but in the world of porn it's almost nonexistent. Since I'm not an expert in determining when a woman has had an orgasm just by looking at her, I couldn't tell if they truly had, but they did look excited and into what they were doing, not just going through the motions. And when the guys climaxed it looked real. No money shots here!
I liked this video and I would recommend it to couples that are looking to expand their lovemaking beyond the boundaries of their bed. Even if you never have sex outside of the bedroom, the items you bring to your bed will help to enhance and heighten your sexual experience.
By the way, the pizza went uneaten.

Forays into the nude food zone soon evolve to the inevitable outcome of `find the honey spots on my naked body while blindfolded'. One can easily imagine the rhapsodic conclusion of this search mission. At the appropriately inappropriate moment there is a knock at the door, announcing Dr. Ava Cadell's arrival followed by two young, attractive couples. Everyone gathers in the living room and Dr. Cadell discusses the options the different rooms of the house hold offer and distributes to each couple a copy of her book, Love Around the House, some `toys': a feather duster, a ruler, a toothbrush, an electric toothbrush, a pasta spoon and others. There's lots of questions, laughter, and careful suggestions like; have a separate set of household items that are for play specifically.
Dr. Cadell concludes with a smile as the three attractive couples begin playing with the toys and laughing. What follows are numerous scenes that ecstatically express the possibilities of play. We start in the laundry room with clothes literally being ripped off each other's bodies. The evolution of seduction is genuine and passionate. Next we discover the blonde female in the living room on the cordless phone having phone sex with her man. A flowing piano music duet with a flute carries one into the romance zone. This well-produced set features a workshop on the Kama Sutra along with beautifully shot sex scenes using real couples. The host, Dr. Patti Britton, takes you through the Kama Sutra step by step, and the couples later apply what they've learned (in some very hot sex scenes). The couples are all very attractive, each in their own way. The first two DVDs cover everything about the Kama Sutra from setting the atmosphere to massage and erotic touch. The third DVD demonstrates a wide variety of positions from the Kama Sutra that will make you want to try every one!

More than just swinging.......2007-09-02

"Swinging: From Fantasy to Reality" is a highly erotic educational film produced by the Alexander Institute. The DVD follows a couple as they enjoy pushing the boundaries of their sexual lives. The couple is in marriage counseling where they talk with their therapists about the pleasure and sometimes discomfort of their adventures. This venue provides an interesting alternative to other "educational" DVD that fail to present a negative side to experimentation. Despite the title, only part of the DVD is devoted to the couples' swinging fantasy. The erotic scenes are explicit and well photographed. We follow the couple as they make love in rooms other than their bedroom, experiment with outdoor sex with erotic scenes of them purposely making love knowing that a man is watching from the bushes. Yes, and finally the couple connects with another couple in an attempt to fulfill a swinging fantasy. Here the two couples make love to their own marriage partners together in the same room. In the final scenes the couple declines the offer of making love with the other couple. The sex scenes in this DVD and their very unusual settings are highly erotic.

The DVD is very good, and teaches us that the journey of pushing sexual boundaries pays benefits by spicing up our primary relationship. However, I think it also teaches that it is wise to enjoy the pleasure from the journey rather than locking on a certain fantasy such as swinging. Swinging, like any fantasy can sometimes become more uncomfortable than fun when played out, and as we have learned, many times it simply does not happen.

This DVD is hardly "informative". Basically, it is a porno - with really bad acting. After the first 5 minutes of each chapter, I shut it off. For those who are contemplating the lifestyle, this movie is NOT for you. There is probably one good tip in the video about setting limits. Even the "therapists" seem scripted. All in all, don't waste your money and you'd get better information online.

My advice is to meet people either on swinger sites or at clubs and become friends first. If you're comfortable, soft swing at first, heavy stuff MUCH later. No rush. If you wish to "fix" your marriage with swinging - forget it-it'll ruin it. The lifestyle must be mutually agreed upon by both partners. There you go folks, again, don't waste your money on hollywood trash.

There is an easy transition into the fictional real life scenario of the primary couple visiting another couple's residence. Many delicious moments are shared in ways that show a progression of personal understanding and shared trust. Intriguing moments grip you with their unexpected tensions. For instance, in the scene where there are the two women are playing with one man, Juli Ashton (visiting as herself in the real life scenario) almost steals the show by repeatedly thrusting her breast into her lover's vagina. Inside the house the visiting couple see all of this taking place on the security camera. They become aroused and make love in the kitchen. Mutual orgasms were shared all round simultaneously by both men and all three women.
An uncontrived respect of privacy is maintained for a realistic time between the resident and visiting couples until the shower scene where the two women are having a shower (like they used to when they were children). At this time one of the men wanders into the bathroom and moments later is followed by the other man.

Anita Banker-Riskin clearly states that, "You can set your own ground rules. You can say no to anybody. The number one priority is always the couple, the marriage." It is suggested that they make love in the presence of the other couple without swapping. Dr. Riskin comments, "many people fantasize about having new, different, and exciting adventures in their relationships and this is a way of acting upon it. It's not a substitute for love in your primary relationship, that's number one and that's what really needs to be honored. Commitment and communication are key." Anita Banker-Riskin adds, "We believe being married is one of the hardest things to do. We believe in commitment, respect and trust."
