Robocop meets Red Shoe Diaries in this cheerfully cheesy sci-fi-exploitation flick directed by Jamie Luk. Set in the near future when robot technology has created some strikingly human-like products, the film opens with loonball Japanese scientist pervert Ryuichi Sakamoto (Lam Chung), transferring his consciousness into one of his cyborg creations, which immediately becomes a killing and raping machine. One of its victims is police officer Selena Lam (Chikako Aoyama), whose body and mind get resurrected and transformed into the ass-kicking android Eve-27 by Dr. Sara (Hiu-Dan Hui). The scientist also downloads her own personality into Ann (Amy Yip), her well-endowed robot assistant, who longs to experience sexual congress. Together the three follow the trail of dead prostitutes back to Sakamoto and his fiendish creation.

An Asian version of THE TERMINATOR/ROBOCOP.......2004-10-20

The film tells the story of Selina, a beatiful female cop, who is assigned to bodyguard a middle eastern prince who is staying in Hong Kong. But then, a mad scientist who has transfered his mind into a cyborge which looks human comes and kills Selina, then kidnaps the prince and holds him for ransom. To save the prince and stop the evil scientist-turned killer cyborge, good scientist Dr. Sara and her cyborge assistant Ann transfer Selina's mind into the body of a cyborge that looks just like her. Now Selina, Ann, Dr. Sara and Selina's cop fiance (who has been told Selina survived the shooting and doesn't know she's a cyborge now,) must team up to defeat the bad guy.

This film has lots of great action, violence, (and, of course, nudity and sex,) and I loved the story of Selina's dilema as a reluctant cyborge. And the film has it's share of funny moments as well. Overall, if you can stomach extreme violence, I recomend this film. However, two things about this video knock it down a star. (One is a major plot spoiler, be forwarned.)

The villain, aside from being a vicious killer, is also a rapiest. Not only that, but one of his victims who survives is seen the next day acting just as if nothing's wrong. (The things I've learned about rape victims and the kind of psychological damage they suffer would seem to contradict this.)

Then there is the climax. (WARNING: PLOT SPOILER AHEAD) Through out the whole film we're lead to believe Selina is the main hero, and certainly we'd love to see her get back at the man who killed her. But then she's incappacitated and it's up to Ann and the male hero to save the day. Otherwise, though, this is a great film.

Disappointing.......2002-12-16

I picked this one up because I'm a fan of the Asian "breasts-and-bullets" genre, but I found this one to be a serious letdown. There's very little action- just a few decent martial arts fights, and one poorly done car chase. And there is, of course, the requisite nudity, but most of it is unpleasant (we get several scenes of the robotic villain raping women, often before gruesomely murdering them) and gratuitious (the sex scenes, including the rapes, are unnecessarily drawn out and not the least bit sexy). The majority of the movie's running time is filled with insipid and awkward attempts at plot and characer development, all of which fall flat.
The viewing experience is further hampered by the bizarre practice, inherent in many entries of the Asian exploitation genre, to mix repellant sex and violence with "cute" slapstick-y comic relief that would be at home in a children's movie. Perhaps this is simply a cultural thing that we Westerners just don't get, but this combined with the boring content previously mentioned makes for one of the weakest entries in this genre that I have ever seen.

If you enjoy the aforementioned,you will enjoy this film.I was impressed by the budget and acting.The humor was well done also.
Yes,the actresses are pretty-but scenery can't make a good film.So,in essence-robots are created,one renegade developer transfers his essence into a cyborg.The other developers fear you cannot control the human spirit-but must transfer the heroines soul into a robotic recreation of herself to counter the villain.There is nudity,but it makes sense.
A good story,good acting,solid budget.Worth the price.

Good film! Better than most American Sci-Fi films! I recommend 'Naked Killer' before this movie, though! It's good, but not as good as 'Naked Killer'.

The Sex And Zen trilogy owes much of its success to a certain scene in the first film involving two women and a flute. Part Three continues the sexual lust, this time with three main characters. Fanny , Susan and Chunyin - all from poor families - are sold to Madame Kau's Golden Palace brothel, securing their families' financial wellbeing. As virgins, they are showcased by Golden Palace, drawing noblemen and merchants willing to part with their hard earned taels for pleasure. As with each of the films thus far, these characters are all gifted with a specific sexual gift or in this film's case, mutation, which gives each woman a unique appeal (one of the three girls is unable to satisfy men normally and must turn to the powers of the tongue). The three women plan to escape with the aid of a young male student from their mistress. However this may not be quite as easy as it seems.
